I'm a year late but very encouraged to see this. I did not want to think about saving up for a DSLR. These lenses are much more within reach, and they will fit my lifestyle better than a separate camera. Thank you!
This is how I feel as well. For a few years I took photos with a DSLR and then spent time editing and processing them after. It was enjoyable but it meant that I had to carry around extra gear with me on every outing and spend extra time processing images. With a smartphone, most of the processing is done in the device, almost instantly (especially with basic astrophotography!) and it seems like adding a lens or two would enhance a modern phone's already-strong image-taking capability - quickly and easily. FYI I'm just a hobbyist. I don't make a living from photography, so my words come with that grain of salt. :)
Also watched part I of this video, so far the best comparison videos for the mobile phone lenses. Showed all strength and weakness for each brand without any bias. Also really liked plainness and down to the point approaching rather than unnecessary and unattractive chats on many YTers. Looking forward for more comparison videos and asking for anamorphic lens comparison like many.
If this hasn't been done already, I second this request. I like taking outdoor photos and a good filter can go a long way toward reducing glare and reflections!
Taylor, thanks for putting together these comparisons on the Moment vs Sandmarc, it's exactly what I needed as I was preparing to make a choice between them! Video idea: I've been longing for a way to reduce the size and weight of my IR converted Nikon and lenses. I wind up taking it on every vacation and trip because you never know when the perfect image will be right in front of you. Some research and information on mobile options for true IR photography would be a huge help. I've checked with the 2 big IR conversion services and they do not do phones, so this seems likely to fall into the compact camera category. The world needs more IR photography, maybe you can help make it easier for those interested to get into it and easier for fans to have the tools in their pocket when the opportunity comes.
I just got into filming and stuff and would appreciate a video about how iPhone video stacks up against DSLR and how to improve iPhone footage since I'm making a mini-doc with just my phone for school.
Taylor Moore I can’t wait! It’s really nice to see someone who responds to their community and I really appreciate that you can cater to people who don’t have that much experience. Thank you!!!
Do a video showing what’s best for someone wanting to shoot macro photography would be awesome. Also, the pros and cons of using the clip to attach the lenses.
I was waiting and excited to see this follow up. You've inspired me to adventure further into mobile photography. Your image comparisons really help to understand the product pros and cons. I also appreciate the delivery of your content. It's given to us with a bit of comedy and VFX that break it up, which i appreciate.
Again another great video. Short and to the point, fair and unbiased and cool inserts for depth and variety. Please expand that comparison: Moment vs Sandmarc vs Sirui
This is the video I was looking for. It clears 70% of my doubts in my mind on what to expect with the new Moment 58mm. I take more videos with Iphone and lease, so I would love to see the comparison for video on the same two lenses from my favourite expert. Take care Taylor Peace.
Great vid! Used your input to finally pull the trigger on a lens! I love all the mobile device vids for photo and video - tips as tricks, as well as best apps to edit.
Bro, it'd cool if you could make a cinematic video using all of Moment lenses to have various types of framing but still doing it all with a Phone. BTW your videos are gold man, I wish I could have that 58mm though, I'm trying to make concert phonetography.
Hey Taylor - how about a review showing what a day in the field with a Sandmarc Anamorphic lens looks like using different lens filters and say the "Fimlic" app on an iPhone?
I'd love to see the anamorphic lens on action. But also watching you do a shoot while talking through lens choices and thoughts throughout would be cool!
Thanks for this video. I would love to see you try out some gimbles. It would be helpful to see the lenses in action with the gimbles so that I can compare the full experience and outcome of shots.
I bought an AikeGlobal similar on Todi lens and it was plagued with lens softening and the bread clip solves the problem. Just try to buy bread clips and before locking your lens on the screw make sure the bread clip acts like a washer on your lens and tighten it and the lens softening at the edges becomes minimal because you are increasing the gap between the lens and your camera.
OK...#3, ideas for future videos...Taylor, you do such great job explaining stuff, to where I can understand it. Given the fact that all of us are on a different spot on the learning curve....moving edited pictures from pc to phone and to the different social media platforms. I know it sounds pretty elementary but any tips on the work flow would be awesome. Keep up the great work. Significant content!
It would be cool if you could do more videos about photography and especially different lenses because there are plenty of brands that offer lenses. Keep doing your videos they’re awesome !
A rundown of accessories for better photo/video results from a smartphone outside of the lenses you covered in these two videos would be nice. External mics, lighting, etc.
Thank you so much for this! Loved this. It really went in-depth and provided the information I needed to get a grasp for what I may want in the future! The visuals provided and the commentary *chef’s kiss* were extraordinary. A video I’d like to see would be your creative process! Your video and photo editing style/process! Your videos are so clean and sharp; they’re addictive because they have everything someone is looking for! Can’t wait to see more content in the future!
Would love to see a video on mobile photo & videography that is lightweight & mobile, plus the best editing tips that are fast & easy to use! I love hiking & traveling, but I hate having to carry an extra bag of photography gear... it would be nice to only use an iphone & a few moment lenses without significantly sacrificing quality!
Great video, I would like to see you do a video on the water, like a glass calm river or large pond, possibly a boat dock. The elements like reflections off the water, the angle of the shot and the hopefully mildly sunshine on glass calm water can make for some excellent shots. I have one that is a classic with great photographers shot across a river at a dock with a few boats and trees in the middle and the angle that this picture was taking from I show it to people upside down and they love it, then when I flip it over they’re amazed. Sorry so long
Great match up here. I was literally looking into this Moment lens yesterday. Trying to keep up with creating something daily and don't always have my camera body and lenses with me. I know comparison videos like this are tough to put together (pre-production and post), so thank you. More like these are always helpful.
Would love to see a walkthrough of the updated Moment Pro Camera app. The one they have on the site is kinda dated and I would love to see your take on what settings your prefer to use for format and overall usage of the app for cinematic purposes. Killer videos so far though!
the video i still can’t find anywhere is a video/studio light battery comparison. the sony F style batteries. Several options of batteries with a wide range in price, but no head to head comparisons out there.
The difference in imagenoise at 5:36 does not come from the "wider f1,8 aperture", because the Moment tele lens adds another probably 2 full stops of light loss (assuming it is an f2 lens), resulting at about f3.5 - f4. Strange enough, Moment on their website hides the f stop of their lenses, respectively the fact that every additional lens adds in light loss, and I am 100% sure their lens is not f1 (which would mean no light loss). So the reason for more noise in the dedicated Apple tele lens is that the tele sensor is much (!) smaller sensor than the standard one, resulting in: more noise :-)
Just found your channel man. Balanced comparisons. Thanks. Looking forward to to the growth, especially interested seeing how mobile phones stack up in street photography.
This video was sooo good and informative, super hyped to get me some moment lenses! But first it’ll be really cool to see what you think should be in a mobile photography starter kit!
Love your detailed comparison! Would like to see some more cinematic footage of you and a moment app review + how to shoot in manual mode. Keep up with the good work!
Who raised you? They deserve a medal for a job well done.
Hahah! This is my favorite comment to date. 😂
Killer review Taylor! Loving your content ....... only saying this because we took the 🥇
jk 😘
Haha! Hey it’s as good a reason as any to enjoy my videos! :D thanks for watching too. This telephoto is 🔥🔥
Hey moment!!! What if you get picked randomly? 😂
Fritz Gerald Moran they surely give a week of mindblowing discounts for they lenses 👍😂
After the first review, I breathed a sigh of relief as I await delivery of my 58mm lens.
I'm a year late but very encouraged to see this. I did not want to think about saving up for a DSLR. These lenses are much more within reach, and they will fit my lifestyle better than a separate camera. Thank you!

Really looking at getting a moment lens for my trip to Japan in a few months. You should do a video on using phone cameras with gimbals for beginners!
That’s a really great idea! Thanks :)

Love this, man. Thank you so much for your kind words! Anamorphic is on its way!!
@@TaylorMoore4K looking forward ..
I'd love to see a video on how those lenses stack up against each other as video lenses 😊
I definitely want to do more with mobile video. It’s a huge opportunity area!
What a high quality, clear, straightforward review. Thank you! Keep dishing out the good stuff. Looking forward to more!
I would love to see a Sandmarc vs Moment filter comparison.
If this hasn't been done already, I second this request. I like taking outdoor photos and a good filter can go a long way toward reducing glare and reflections!
Thanks! Going to check out the macro lens for each.
Good review, thank you. Please make some more video's with these iPhone lenses.
I’m on it for sure :)
These iphone lens videos are saving me so much time. I was going nuts trying to find a thorough enough review. Thanks so much for your work!
Absolutely man! I’m so glad to hear you found it helpful!
Just got the Moment 58mm for Christmas. Looking forward to adding the anamorphic lens next.
A situational video on which lens works better in different environments
Oh that’s a good one! I never thought of that one but I like it!
Taylor, thanks for putting together these comparisons on the Moment vs Sandmarc, it's exactly what I needed as I was preparing to make a choice between them!

I’m definitely working on this right now actually!
Taylor Moore I can’t wait! It’s really nice to see someone who responds to their community and I really appreciate that you can cater to people who don’t have that much experience. Thank you!!!
Hey can you please make a video of how moment lenses perform on s10+. 🙏
+Sami Hong good idea!!
Good information to help me on my purchase decision - going with the Moment 58mm.
please do a video on how you edit your photos!
I certainly will!
I would love to see a video on how you film, edit and bring everything together using your editing software.
I’m definitely going to do this! I think it’s a great idea.
Loved the video! Would like to see one on mobile photography and low light. Light comparisons too! Thanks!
It’d be awesome to see a review on the new iPad pro and how well the clip on sandmarc lens works on it!
I definitely need to buy an iPad Pro! Haha love it!
Do a video showing what’s best for someone wanting to shoot macro photography would be awesome. Also, the pros and cons of using the clip to attach the lenses.
Glad I stumbled upon your channel, you have great quality videos!. A video on how you edit your photos would something I'd definitely watch.
Taylor - great info! in-depth and no-nonsense. Thanks.
Thanks a ton man!

I also appreciate the delivery of your content. It's given to us with a bit of comedy and VFX that break it up, which i appreciate.
Can you do a updated video of this comparison ? seems like both sandmarc and moment have improved lenses and with iphone 15 pros, it would make sense
In the future you should do a video on how you edit and which gimbal you use for video!
Did you see my latest gimbal video? I think you’d really enjoy it :)
Love your videos. I would like to see a review of the black eye lens or comparison of these lens since there about the same price range. Thanks.
Any chance of a nature shot comparison video?
It’s very possible actually!
Again another great video. Short and to the point, fair and unbiased and cool inserts for depth and variety. Please expand that comparison: Moment vs Sandmarc vs Sirui
Awesome, looking to get into the moment lenses. Would like to see more accessories and techniques to enhance mobile photography
We have some phone lens too ,very good nice lens.
Loved the completeness of your reviews... thanks! In future, could you share tips on taking better photos with external lenses.
Thank you so much :)
Great review and comparison. A review of Moment lens with gimbal for making some movie will be great !
Wanna see about
Anamorphic Lens ^^
Anamorphic is used for filmaking
This is the video I was looking for. It clears 70% of my doubts in my mind on what to expect with the new Moment 58mm. I take more videos with Iphone and lease, so I would love to see the comparison for video on the same two lenses from my favourite expert. Take care Taylor Peace.
Great review, I am more video, so I guess I should try the moment lense?
Definitely :) the anamorphic is dope for video too. Wait til you see what it does in one of my future videos!
Love your direct and concise approach.
Great vid! Used your input to finally pull the trigger on a lens!
I love all the mobile device vids for photo and video - tips as tricks, as well as best apps to edit.
I want a Macro lens review on Moment and Sirui! Love y'all!
Great idea! Thanks :)
@@TaylorMoore4K Love your cinematography
Thanks for the video. Really helped me choose Moment lens! Hope to see the comparison video on 'Moment Macro Lens vs iPhone XS normal lens'.
I love it! I guess I didn’t really do much of that in my last video, I just compared Sandmarc to Moment. But hey, it’s a start!
Bro, it'd cool if you could make a cinematic video using all of Moment lenses to have various types of framing but still doing it all with a Phone. BTW your videos are gold man, I wish I could have that 58mm though, I'm trying to make concert phonetography.
Bro I love this idea. A few people also agree so I definitely think I’m gonna move in this direction!
Taylor Moore please do I just ordered it
I just wanted to know which brand and lens to buy but stayed for the way you delivered your videos. Awesome work dude
Wow thank you so much :)
Great video! Would love to see a full iPhone photography recommended accessories video! Keep doing great!

Love your reviews Taylor, they are straight to the point!
I really appreciate it :) thanks!
Behind the scenes-style! I’m down for it!
I was wondering how you got sandmark to sponsor you. Would like to see more anamorphic lenses
I just asked :) hahaha
I'd be keen on seeing a video on the practicality of the one wheel in a day to day basis. or using it as a filming tool.
Thanks for this video. I would love to see you try out some gimbles. It would be helpful to see the lenses in action with the gimbles so that I can compare the full experience and outcome of shots.
That review was extremely helpful and visually appealing, thanks! :) A comparison between Moment and Sirui lenses would also be great!
Awesome comparisons. Please also compare them with the Sirui Tele and BeastGrip.
Great ideas!! Thanks :)
I would like to see a video about the best lenses for Night Sky and Star Photography. Thanks.
More comparisons of phone lenses and filters. And any tips. Thank you
Would love too see a video with tricks to improve Mobil photography and more comparison between lens and no lens

Sandmarc just released a new 58mm lens for the iPhone 14 pro. Can you do an updated comparison video?
Thank you for the visual comparisons. Well done.
Cool idea which case holds up the best? Do a drop test with the lens on it
Oh gosh hahah the poor lenses. I’ll need a fleet of lenses to do this one!
I'd like to see a comparison between the Moment wide angle lens vs the Moment anamorphic lens
Anamorphic is in the works right now :) you’re gonna love what Ive got coming!
Helpful review. Wasn’t sure which one to get. Thank you!

I shouldn't be surprised on a lens comparison but this is video is impressively sharp for TH-cam.
Dang thank you so so much!!
would love to see a video on making videos with the moment lenses pls
It’s coming :)
This video came at the perfect time for me. What about the next video continuing with phone camera gear? Possibility Gimbals, mics, rigs, etc?
Yeah I definitely want to sit in this mobile space for a long time!
Great review...appreciate all the details & examples.
Hey the video was dope ! Would love to see review of the moment anamorphic lens !!
Thanks !!
It’s coming :)
Great videos! Very impressive photography knowledge, would like to hear your thoughts on some of the smart phone gimbals out there!
the video i still can’t find anywhere is a video/studio light battery comparison. the sony F style batteries. Several options of batteries with a wide range in price, but no head to head comparisons out there.
I like ur observations on these lens. I did go with Moment instead of Sandmarc. Good video
Great video! I would love to see more focus on mobile photography/videography content! :)
That’s my aim here for a long while :)

Great review have the moment 60 may now get the 58

Really great review...I'm kinda leaning towards moment.
Their lenses are remarkable!
Great review. Cleared a lot of doubts... thank you. What would be a good video app for an amateur to use. Waiting to see more of your videos....
+steelroad2 I have more coming :) I would definitely say to use Filmic Pro. It’ll give you incredible tools that’ll help you grow as a filmmaker!
Love your detailed comparison! Would like to see some more cinematic footage of you and a moment app review + how to shoot in manual mode. Keep up with the good work!
Would like to see a Moment Anamorphic Lens review!
It’s in the works :)
