Total potential: Joez - 1405 Jake - 1686 Jolly - 1370 (1443 w/ correct Nomo year) Biggest guessed vs potential years difference: Clemens 93v97 - 132 Benitez 96vs99 - 108 Jake not only had the highest potential, he had the lowest missed SOs (139), lowest average missed SOs (34.75), and lowest wrong year guesses (4).
Next episode do 1880s strikeout draft. Maybe have a list of names that pitched in the 1800s and let the guys just wild guess who might have had a lot of Ks based solely on their name
I’m 90% sure these intros are recorded directly after he got back from spring training. There’s another video where he seems a little bit like he’s getting over a sickness.
All the guys suggesting batting average... Hits makes way more sense... These are counting stats... Part of the fun is not having to pick an injured season... Could play 1 game and get 1 hit and have a better batting average than a 200 hit guy over a full season.
You could just say it has to be a qualified season. There's a minimum number of plate appearances a batter need in order to qualify for the batting title. If they picked a player who only played 1 game it wouldn't count
@@johnabraham2594 Why do that when you can just do hits? Then you get arguments over a qualified season.... I would say you getting a hitter who had 1 hit is better than you getting a hitter who had 60 hits...
7:03 is one of the funniest moments I’ve ever seen in a JM Baseball video. The way the whimsical background music comes to a stop right at Jolly lays down a garbage pick of 1990 Dennis Eckersley. 😂
Surprised no one went for Maddux. Not a huge K guy but he did have around 200 in many seasons in the 90s, including 204 in 99. And he was a quad-peat Cy Young winner in the middle of the decade. That is dominance. In fact the only other person to ever accomplish that feat is randy johnson
I feel like that ERA draft could be a lot of fun. Obviously you'd have to split it into American League and National League and set an innings limit but there's some fun curveballs in there.
i really love this format hope it doesnt end thinking of what other things you could do maybe hits? maybe WAR or error draft haha idk i just hope this formate continues
You guys should do these kind of drafts but it has to be a whole team and play it out on jm gaming. or do a fantasy franchise with people im the office and games get uploaded when teams go head to head.
I appreciate Jake's game for how insane of a blowout it was and I appreciate Joez's game for how hilariously awful it was. Jolly, idk. I like you man but get better... or worse.. idk haha

Great idea
Old Hoss Radbourn in 1884 is a gamechanger (and also probably the only one from that time period I can accurately name the player and the year)
Tungsten Arm O'Doyle #1 pick
Charlie Buffinton 1884 underrated
Great idea
Why is jolly so not jolly at the beginning of this episode? 😢
He just watched the Mets this weekend (yes I know they record these early)
I’m 90% sure these intros are recorded directly after he got back from spring training. There’s another video where he seems a little bit like he’s getting over a sickness.
IMO lighting on him looks like maybe he's in a different studio space. The audio quality is different too. Maybe recorded from his apartment.
Out of weed
@@cinco_de_la_tarde Recorded during his ST trip maybe?
Joez: "that's a reliever?" lmaooooo

Very true

Qualified hitters/pitchers exist
@@braedenmousseau8032there wouldn’t be any arguments because qualified hitters and pitchers are set rule. 1 IP per team game played or 3.1 PA per game
13:05 Jake is all of us watching this. Lmao
This descended in chaos, and it was amazing
7:03 is one of the funniest moments I’ve ever seen in a JM Baseball video. The way the whimsical background music comes to a stop right at Jolly lays down a garbage pick of 1990 Dennis Eckersley. 😂
this is by far my favourite draft video yet, total insanity past the 10 minute mark loll
Gotta do an all time K draft so someone can get Old Hoss Radbourns 1884 season with 441
Surprised no one went for Maddux. Not a huge K guy but he did have around 200 in many seasons in the 90s, including 204 in 99. And he was a quad-peat Cy Young winner in the middle of the decade. That is dominance. In fact the only other person to ever accomplish that feat is randy johnson
Please let Lucas play one of these against Jolly and Joez. Just one and only one. Please just one.
“You might as well go with CC Sebastian” Is the last thing I thought I was gonna hear in this 😂
I love these and love playing along myself! I was born in 92 but I guessed a couple years you guys missed haha.
Do the batting average draft next!
I still like the idea of a triples draft, even without the years requirement
I feel like that ERA draft could be a lot of fun. Obviously you'd have to split it into American League and National League and set an innings limit but there's some fun curveballs in there.
ERA draft will be dope
Was kinda waiting for Joez to guess Eddie Guardado
Taking Alfonseca to make up for Wickman is peak comedy
i really love this format hope it doesnt end thinking of what other things you could do maybe hits? maybe WAR or error draft haha idk i just hope this formate continues
Good lord this was the hardest draft to watch by far.
Joez not remembering a name is expected! Good game, guys.
This was chaotic 😂
Hell yeah Kevin Brown. Dude should be in the Hall.
I was saying 1990 Rob Dibble just about the entire episode. How no one picked any of the 1990 Nasty Boys is beyond me.
Because bullpens never get any flowers. The 2022 Astros bullpen dropped the greatest postseason since the 1990 Nasty Boys and no one cared.
Shocked Joez and Jake didn't take a Rod Dibble season, with how much Diamond Dynasty they play
I’ve been saying 1998 Kerry Wood since the video started
Please do a 2000’s or 2010’s pitching draft. Love you guys
Need a homer draft from like the 50s just to see the names
You guys should do these kind of drafts but it has to be a whole team and play it out on jm gaming. or do a fantasy franchise with people im the office and games get uploaded when teams go head to head.
I know he wasn’t a huge strikeout pitcher but I can’t believe none of them picked Maddux
Batting average draft next?
Jake's first four starters beat Joez and were 24 behind Jolly. This was a slaughter.
Curt Schilling needs to be in the HOF, I don’t care if people don’t like him
Nolan ryan played 26 years started at age 19 and ended his career at age 46! What a career!
Best episode funny asl
It’s someone turned the volume down on Jolly in the intro
ERA draft lowest number wins would be a fire idea
You guys should do a hits draft
what a chaotic game lol
Was hoping someone would shoot their shot with 98 Kerry Wood
Alan Embree lmao I’m dead
Homer draft for this decade gonna be fcking lit
alright look ik he had 1 year but how did nobody guess 1998 kerry wood with 233 Ks. Like come on
Im just excited for the part where jolly makes the video all about himself
Nice 1:53 to start this is like clockwork.
2:15
2:29
3:25
8:20
Where’s my wood pick? Didnt he strike out 20 in his rookie season 98
I appreciate Jake's game for how insane of a blowout it was and I appreciate Joez's game for how hilariously awful it was. Jolly, idk. I like you man but get better... or worse.. idk haha
my picks
Pedro Martinez 1999 313
Rodger Clemens 1996 257
Tom Glavine 1994 127
Bobby Thigpen 1991 47
Randy Johnson 1998 329
Mariano Rivaera 1997 68
Trevor hoffman 1995 52
Curt Schilling 1995 114
Total: 1307
Strikeouts by a hitter next?
Stolen Base draft? RBI draft? Batting Avg draft?
Stolen base would be good!!
96 was the Hoffman year
Dont forget my boy doc gooden!
Jolly most of the time: 😊
Jolly today: 😕
So glad Joez finally picked Nolan Ryan. They were trying too hard and absolutely failing when all
They had to do was pick the famous guys.
Do an anti draft, least amount of home runs draft but the player must have played a game minimum of like 100 or something.
By the 7th video where Joez asks why can't I remember this guy's name maybe he should just realize he doesn't remember names well.
I thought you couldn't draft players on the same team?
"I'm just gonna flex on these chumps!"
This is basically just Mention some names and hope for the best
Gotta be a WAR draft
Golden Glover draft next
Joez went from the highest of high to the lowest of lows. You can tell these guys don’t know 90s as much as 00,10
1999 was Randy Johnson's big strikeout year lol
Threw 300+ few times
Why is Joez a part of this channel?
Rob Dibble. Not Rod
Where's the Jeff Fassero love?
Eduardo Núñez rules the world
This episode was great because it was so bad haha
Nomo
THESE WOMEN ARE HAVING A MID OFF
Yall should just let everyone play against Lucas.
Jolly looks like Mario.
Took 2 Braves
Am I the only one hoping Joez picked Mitch Williams or John Rocker
Kerry Wood 1998
shoutouts to Dorktown
No one is taking Nolan Ryan?
Where maddux
Gotta stoppin putting joez💀💀
Jake won with his rotation alone
DAVE STIEB MENTION
sad olive :(
error draft
Jolly is legendarily bad at this game
1990 Braves cancer, John Rocker 100K's
