hmm what is your current visa? i don't have personal experience so i'm not sure if you can get a D-10 visa if it's not a switch from a previous visa. sorry that i can not give you a lot of information 😪 화이팅!
This is so useful! I’m looking to teach first but would like to move into marketing (my field) or study at a Korean University afterwards. I had no idea this visa was a thing and I’ve been wanting to move for over 7 years now. Edit: one question-how do people survive on the D-10 or any visa where you aren’t allowed to work? Are you really able to save up 6 months worth of money beforehand?
yay thanks for watching, im so glad this was helpful for you~~ in terms of surviving with a D-10, i do think it's doable if you save and budget while on a teaching E-2 visa (especially if you work in a public school). but i think people also bring some money from their home country and exchange to korean won here just so there's something to fall back on. i do know that with a studying visa, you are allowed to get a part-time job if you study for a min. of 6 months. let me know if you have any other questions, happy to help :)
Hi hi! I remember you said you were interested in teaching in korea for a bit! I just posted a step-by-step guide to the E-2 visa! Hope it helps, and let me know if you have any more questions on the new video~ 🤗 th-cam.com/video/m1Qo1ZMgHFU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IYpf6_JQ3AoFGu-A
Hey hey! Oh no I should've included this question into the Q&A, but i finally made a longer video giving a life update and I go into the work possibilities here~ let me know if you have any more questions after watching :) thank you for all the support!! th-cam.com/video/faGaRPouPbI/w-d-xo.html
i waited until my one year contract ended before i switched over to the d-10 visa! there are some other job options, but not many, depending on your field. i'm thinking of making a Q&A video once i stack up some more questions and then i'll explain more in depth. be on the look out for that and let me know if you have any other questions :)

I’ve heard that there is a point system for the D-10 visa was that true for you?
I’ve heard of that also, but that didn’t apply to mine 😊 hope this helps!
How soon did you quit your job or did your year contract end? I really don’t want to teach for a year. Are there other options?

Can you make a video on E2 visa also, please?
yeah for sure! i'll gather all my notes and start planning that video, be on the lookout for that 🤗
Thanks a bunch 🤍
