One thing I learned from my years of driving in North Jersey was put snow tires on the car late fall. All my friends who had problems were generally driving either factory tires, bald tires or the cheapest Walmart tires. They make such a difference. So does AWD.

Or how they think they can fight Mother Nature. What great things you do and how neighbors help is so good to see. You are the only person I’ve ever seen digging out fire hydrants, awesome. Hello Murph, we had our second snowfall for this winter over the weekend in Newfoundland. We had 1 foot and a half of snow. And then we had a couple of inches of rain so it's all gone again. Beautiful winter. I love it. Great show!!!
I live in the eastern US and it has been nothing but well above average temperatures daily this year. I had 1mm of snow last December. 10c+ rainfalls all winter long.
Yippie, u finally got some snow. The problem with front wheel drive vehicles going up a hill, is the weight shifts to the rear, leaving the front of car very light and useless for any traction. Rear wheel drive will always be superior in any snow covered uphill incline. Keep these vids a coming. They add some laughter to my long boring winters.

Honestly amazed that the guy in the black Escalade had to make two attempts, had so many near misses, yet somehow managed to just not quite hit anything.
Love how a guy can make a TH-cam channel using snow and the hill in front of his house!... Used to do this as a kid and it was hilarious. This hill was about 30 degrees angle and always sloppy wet.
I always have winter tires in the winter and when it really snows, I even have extra weight in the trunk. It doesn't always help, but most of the time.

Dam that is just a dusting .. I have 6 inches of snow in my drive way need to pack it down ,, ground has not froze yet can't plow it will just throw stones with the blower ..tires and enough weight you could go almost anywhere ..

I live in Vermont and the first time in my life I have an AWD car I love it never will I go back to a car without it But it helps putting the car in 1st gear.
Gee , when I was up in Westford Massachusetts working in the Quarry area along route 3 ,we had a ice snowstorm in October... a couple of 2 foot snowstorms within days of each other. This was between 2010 and 2016 .I remember I believe it was 2015 they shut down all of the roads . But now I'm back in Florida enjoying my warmth. Love your videos.

I Have been driving in New England winters for over forty years. And it's disturbing how many people out there driving in snow have no idea what they are doing. Anyway love the vids.
I'd like to think I'd always pick up on a flat tire, but it got me once in the snow. Maybe cuz snow itself makes a vehicle feel so "loose". Anyway, I had been driving in the snow, no problem, I stop to get some drive through on the way home. While sitting in line I had a lady tell me my tire was "low". I asked "is it flat or is it low?" She said it was "low". I said I'd stop by a friend's house a block away and air it up. She's like "I'm not sure you'll make it", which shoulda been a clue that it was flat. Anyway, I didn't look, drove to my friend's house, got out, and it was off the bead. :/ SOB, I shoulda got out and looked.
Nice video. I live in the Ardennes, Battle of the Bulge area. Because of an accident, i can now borrow me neighbours daughters car. He has a garage shop. On my way back from the gasoline station, i took the short cut road. After a village, there is a sign Forbidden to enter, but passable for people who life here. I do. And an under shield with: "No winter service". So, the street in not snow free and not salted. But i have winter tyres, real ones, on that Ford Focus. It went okay untill i was almost at the top of the forest road. 9 inches of snow, slippery road. It did not make it. And now? It us not my car. In can not turn. Inch by inch i went backwards. Inch, break, inch, break. 4 times i almost went in to the ditch on the left and right side of the track. Fast backwards was no option. A BMW x5 came. I signaled him to be patient. I went extremely slow backwards. He passed when he could. Again almost in the ditch. Finally i entered the village again and had a good asfalt onder my tyres. I turned in a side street and could finally drive normal. I took me an hour to help myself out of this horrible situation, alone, in a forest, on a steep road, rolling backwards. I can't believe Worcester doesn't pre-treat the roads, especially the hilly roads! Gloucester does an outstanding job treating the roads.

I'd like to think I'd always pick up on a flat tire, but it got me once in the snow. Maybe cuz snow itself makes a vehicle feel so "loose".
Anyway, I had been driving in the snow, no problem, I stop to get some drive through on the way home. While sitting in line I had a lady tell me my tire was "low". I asked "is it flat or is it low?" She said it was "low". I said I'd stop by a friend's house a block away and air it up.
She's like "I'm not sure you'll make it", which shoulda been a clue that it was flat.
Anyway, I didn't look, drove to my friend's house, got out, and it was off the bead. :/ SOB, I shoulda got out and looked.

Nice video. I live in the Ardennes, Battle of the Bulge area. Because of an accident, i can now borrow me neighbours daughters car. He has a garage shop. On my way back from the gasoline station, i took the short cut road. After a village, there is a sign Forbidden to enter, but passable for people who life here. I do. And an under shield with: "No winter service". So, the street in not snow free and not salted. But i have winter tyres, real ones, on that Ford Focus. It went okay untill i was almost at the top of the forest road. 9 inches of snow, slippery road. It did not make it. And now? It us not my car. In can not turn. Inch by inch i went backwards. Inch, break, inch, break. 4 times i almost went in to the ditch on the left and right side of the track. Fast backwards was no option. A BMW x5 came. I signaled him to be patient. I went extremely slow backwards. He passed when he could. Again almost in the ditch. Finally i entered the village again and had a good asfalt onder my tyres. I turned in a side street and could finally drive normal. I took me an hour to help myself out of this horrible situation, alone, in a forest, on a steep road, rolling backwards.
