Probably the most chill ex we've had. Good but nothing truly game changing. The revive is honestly the strongest thing about him and it looks like itll only really be impactful with good coordination. I honestly think the ex tag just needs to be scrapped. Whether we like ex mons or not, the reality is they NEED to be stronger then other mons to justify their restrictions. If they're not, they have no reason to be restricted. Both mewtwo x and zacian are outperformed by numerous all arounders. Tyranitar, blaziken, mimikyu, falinks,gyarados. A argument could honestly be made for metagross lol. Y and miraidon are definitely a bit better but not enough to justify restrictions when sylveon, cram and intelion exist. With ho oh being the first ex defender, he's going to be compared to other defenders. If he releases as is, he's not touching slowbro, trev or umbreon. Which is good imo. I think this needs to persist because ex mons just don't dominate the game anymore. There's no reason to restrict them
I don't think there's any restriction on EX Rn
Another option is the EX title just being cosmetic, that would be pretty neat. Have EX mon be interesting mechanics balanced by wasting Aeos energy but overall still balanced and available for competitive play.

If they do make those ex Pokemon's powerful, then a lot of players will just complain because they don't know the concept of ex pokemons 😂
@@theadmiral4157 The thing is Ex Pokemon are very easy to get and have beginner - intermidiate skill cap so this Pokemon being stronger than average ones would be unfair. If they increased the skill level quite a bit like Zoroark's or Dodrio's or maybe Aegislash (they are still not as difficult) then the player base might not complain much because players only in the higher ratings would be able to master them
Ho-oh seems good but nowhere near as oppressive as the other EX mons on release, could be a good sign

@@idktbh5895 if you have a really high ping like over 200, you rather not playing the game or playing something simple (if you are in a server that is far off from you, for example im EU if i would play in a japan server it would lag so much).
I am disappointed in how the devs designed Ho-oh. It's moveset looks boring and doesn't give defender vibes. The Flamethrower animation looks goofy. They didn't even add Sacred Fire as one of its moves. It feels like a mon the devs put zero creativity into. The only interesting thing about it is the unite move. 🤷
Not every mon has to be falinks. Most defenders are pretty simple.

Bullet seed that you cant terrain counter....
normally you can just jump in a terrain and you can fully dodge the skill
now the enemy can just fly over it........ and keep draining your life to hell....

This build with Comfey definitely does feel a bit too strong but I may be overestimating too much. Let’s see during the anniversary.
Its already tanky and having comfey is just too strong not to mention it could heal itself with passive and can fly across walls and melee Pokemon are useless against it

ho oh can be so troll. whenever your ally dies just revive them in enemy base or near enemies when it's like 2-3 sec left for them to comeback. they come back at half hp die immediately and they can't do anything about it(at least from what i have seen i don't think there is prompt to cancel your revive when ho oh pops unite). I wouldn't do that to my worst enemy cause it's such a trash play.
I have a feeling he could be good if you use a curse item because of the continuous and consistent damage from flamethrower and boosted attack
I wonder if Sky Attack along with Fly have synergy; also with the Fire Spin and Flamethrower
cris, i have followed since day one back in like 2021 when this game came out that summer. idk why you never grab the coins so they cant stack!! like you rarely use your ult's when you need to use them more. like im watching the beginning where you vs the zoraork and you didnt grab the coins. you let him get 4 stacks for free, when you couldve picked the coins up. you do this sometimes and ahhh lolol
so basically ho-oh is playing with charizard's unite move but with super short cooldown 🤧

Lessons from this livestream for Crisheroes and his echo chamber of barely sentient followers:
1. Garde Unite + Psyshock combo is a great secure. You use Garde Unite to secure objectives, combo a lot of enemies if they are clumped together in the same spot or save your life. You don't use it to "burst Rayquaza down", especially in solo queue when you are matched with teammates of questionable intelligence that can't be trusted with anything. That's the winning solo queue mindset, oh #1 solo queue player. Just accept responsibility and move on gracefully.
2. Chandelure is a weak Pokemon in the current solo queue meta. Overheat got hit hard by cooldown nerfs and Flamethrower, while possessing good damage, is easy to get jumped on. Remember, good supports and tanks are a luxury in solo queue.
3. Eject button has incurred cooldown nerfs, so XSpeed is a viable battle item for squishy attackers. XSpeed is up way more often. Let's not preach uniformity of builds.
4. Tank Venusaur is sweet in the Falinks meta. Take it from a Gold Badge Venu with 59% WR in 1864 (mainly ranked) matches. Or leave it.
My in-game name is cutiepatel, with 7848 wins out of 13654 battles (WR 57% from not all Ranked matches of-course, but mainly Ranked matches only) and Gold Badges on Venusaur, Delphox; Blue Badges on Glaceon, Espeon, Gardevoir and Green badges on multiple Pokemon. It's necessary to put this information out because CrisHeroes really likes to make ad-hominem attacks, all the while churning out videos where he claims to carry XP share pocket healers and defenders.
