I think NC State, Oklahoma, Florida, Alabama and Georgia are the top 5 important games on the schedule.

Oklahoma game is my #1 also Bull! As a matter of fact my dad and i are going! Got some decent tickets too (zone 1 lower, row 4). Super pumped! Will be an amazing experience to go to this historical event at "The Palace on the Prairie"! Going to be a tough one so lets see some orange up in there boys!! Go Vols!

I think the NC State game is very important ! Gotta start out 3-0, not 2-1 ! It will help the Vols psychologically too. Losing to the Wolfpack could mess their heads up

My daughter and I went to the 22 spring game. I've got tickets to the Ga game this year. This will be my 1st time seeing the Vols play a real game. Can't wait, I'm very hopeful we can pull it off this year. I'm from Franklin, NC (home of Shawn Bryson.(T) and I'm going with my cousin from Clayton, Ga (home of Gunner Stockton(Ga). Probably gonna be a long 60 mile trip back for one of us. Maybe a fist fight somewhere near Taccoa..lol

With the exception of NC State I think it's important hat we pitch shut-outs against those way lesser teams. Especially UT Chattanooga and some others. Get our basics in the secondary down very well. Get used to breaking in new faces and give Pili and others' a chance to mentor these players on the do's and don't's. I like that fact that Kalen Debour has only seen one real high level success season as a HC before his first season in the SEC. Keep that in mind and before we grant him top 3 SEC coach in the rankings, I just think one year of succees as a HC at a high level does not erase all those other years of mediocrity. If we are undefeated going into that Bama game, we have a very very high probability of getting in the playoffs. And that starts with NC state. I don't want to be in a position where we have two losses already and somehow make the SECCG lol. Do we, "try very hard again", not to lose to UGA, "wink wink" in order to avoid the risk of losing the SECCG when that loss would be loss number two on the season? Imo, we gave them the Ball State game plan in 22 to avoid the situation that UGA fell into last season by losing the SECCG and failing to get into the playoffs because of it. We could hang 52 on a better Bama D but only manage 13 on UGA? That only happens if your goal isn't to win lol. Imo, the price is the playoffs, not the SECCG. I think Heupel felt that way in 22. If we are good enough to be 6-0 and are, we certainly could be good enough to either run the table or at least beat Bama in Neyland. If you know how this offense ran in 2022 and in general, you know what you saw in that UGA 2022 game wasn't even close to what we normally run and there was no tempo.
Those are great points and perspective G! I think that UGA game was really about handling being number 1, and the environment in Athens. We will be ready for it this year, and I expect the tempo will be back. When we get rolling with this team, we are a real problem for anybody in the country. I feel a different mind set from everybody this year embracing these challenges, and we will get over the hump G! We are close to the start of this thing and I can barely sleep from excitement bro! This is our year!! GBO!!
@@bluechipbreakdown lol I know it's a little conspiracy on my part about that 22 UGA game. But when I saw what we were running and how, it made no sense. It was what we ran against Ball state. Every once in a great while we get a game that it benefits us more not to win. We only have 65 scholarship players on that team. Defensively, we weren't equipped to play an extra game, like an SEECCG. We were already in, just beat SC and Vandy. Last season we saw what happened to UGA losing that one game. It cost UGA a playoff spot. Even at number one, we dropped out of the top 4 for the playoffs when we lost that UGA game. But time enough to climb back up a spot for the playoffs. You can lose 3 weeks before the end of the regular season but not the SECCG in certain years.
@@bluechipbreakdown We all didnt we see in the UGA game and how did our media react. No real up tempo. Less passing. Many first downs we easily could have run for the down but we opted to only throw on 1st down and 2nd down for 4 or 5 yards for the first? Incompletes. After the game, no one asked Heuepl what he thought UGA did to win that game or what we did wrong.. lol Odd. We could hang 52 on Bama but only 13 on UGA? lol hmmm. Tuns out that SECCG would have been against LSU but at the time, we didn't know that and would we have risked having to beat Bama for a second time in a season?? our playoff hopes would have hung on that. My gut says Heupel wasn't willing to find out. Plays a very vanilla game plan vs UGA, in a close loss, 14 points. We shut UGA down in the secnd half, outscored them more than 3-1. Added more on the D line and when we decided they were done scoring after we scored 10 points to their three, they were done. We couldn't do that in the first half? I think we could and chose a possum game.
@@bluechipbreakdown Lastly, this will be the 3rd year in a row we play UGA in November. Before that, last time we pjlayed UGA in November was in 1972 and 73 seasons. Important that if we are 11-1 going into the UGA game, we will give them our, "intentionally" best game we've ever given them. No matter what, this season I think we give them the 22 season Bama game effort in Athens. Plus, i think we will have a better recored than UGA when we play them. No way with that schedule do they not drop two of those games. I think they could lose to Clemson early on. Great videos man, great breakdown of this team and who looks to be in the lead in rotations!!
I think we have 4or 5 surprise players
I can see that because there is so much veteran leadership and competition. The light will turn on for some players this year that it might not have on some different rosters because of the talent and mindset!

It's definitely the Oklahoma game. If we can win there and start 4-0, the CFP begins to look very possible with our remaining schedule.

It is considered neutral because it isn't at either team's stadium. We will have a lot of Vol fans there!

I get why you feel that way. I think Oklahoma is going to be a lot better than people think, but that Florida game has been a challenge regardless of the rosters since Fulmer's era! I Nico will be undefeated vs them starting this year, and his legend grows in Vol Nation!
