That's a great harpsichord sound, and a good demo excerpt for it, too, with a few nice, measured ornamentations. This would be a nice replacement for my mechanical upright, just for sound management reasons.
@ I love it. Seriously, it’s worth every cent. The keys feel solid and similar to an acoustic piano. The speakers are louder than I thought they would be, headphones connectivity is great (having two aux outputs), and integration with your DAW (if you use one) is top notch, imo. I actually use it extensively with Arturia’s Piano vst, in Ableton (via usb). It’s a blast. If you can, I’d totally recommend it to anyone looking for a digital piano. I use all of its features, really. As a standalone, when I want to play and write my own music in an old fashioned way, or connected to my computer when I’m making different genres. It just works for me.
Looks like a great piano for students. I sent it to a mother of my student who is using a small keyboard currently. It does not have enough keys. who is your financing with? What percent is is?
I’m thinking of buying this piano but I didn’t try it and I can’t put my hands on it. I can only buy it from website. My question is does it have a realistic keys action that mimics a real piano?
Hello - great question! Yes, any keyboard that is listed with “graded hammer action” keys is designed to replicate the feel of a real acoustic piano. Thanks! Jason Filloramo, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1281, Jason_Filloramo@sweetwater.com

I don't play piano and probably never will, but I have to say this was one of the best demos of an instrument I have ever seen. Lizzy is a great player and a total hottie as well. Thank you Sweetwater!
I bought this piano but it was a big let down.. I tell you why : Go to the middle C then go to one octave higher now press D on this octave keep pressing) you will find a fast decay of sustain even if pressing the sustain pedal!! Roland has sampled a broken piano when manufacturing the Rp30 😕 This is only in piano sound.
Hi Michael, thanks for the question! It is not the PHA 4 key bed, but it is a very nice feeling graded hammer action with escapement. It is only a two sensor system. If you have any more questions, just give me a ring! Drake Sobehrad, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 3271, drake_sobehrad@sweetwater.com

Lizzy, you seriously killed the sample section !! The harpsichord had me so mesmerized :)
The metronome is so neat too !

Thanks Lizzy, wonderful and informative video!
Nice work, Lizzy.
Im not a musician but wow what a machine.
RP-30 or FP-30x ?
fo 30x, the piano tone better than Rp30..
What was the piece you were playing with the metronome?
Ok.
I’m sold!
Update: I bought one! 😬

I bought it last year, it sounds good with hammer action and weighted keys just like the real acoustic piano... Go for it..

Something is wrong with the sustain time of this piano sound, too short time compared to other digital pianos.
Excelent performanse. Roland and girl.

Yes i tried many pianos of this model they all the same.
I will never buy any of Roland's products from now on.
@Darkblue332 what would you recommend at a similar price point?
What action does this digital piano have? Is it PHA-4? Does it have three sensors?
Thank you,
Michael

Harpsichord with a sustain pedal sounds very weird and out of place
