The Whelen Hands Free Full Function 100/200 Watt Siren (295SLSA1) siren offers a large, unique and distinctive collection of features designed to allow the user to customize the operation of this siren to suit their individual wants or needs. This is a compact, self-contained unit that is backward compatible to, and replaces the 295HFSA1/295HFSM1 with a slightly shallower in design for underdash/console mounting. The "Hands Free" feature lets you keep both hands on the wheel, both eyes on the road and access three siren tones and On/Off. The Scan-Lock Tone Programming feature lets you choose from 17 siren tones to preset during siren installation via a momentary switch located on the back of the unit secures siren tones for agency standardization. Now you can access siren tones using the Scan-Lock feature or check on/off status of your siren via an icon on your video system. The 295SLS Series sirens are full function plus radio repeat and public address.

How do you connect the handsfree to the car horn.
What radio rebroadcast are you talking about? Is it the CB radio or your car radio with music ?
Good question - It's for using with a CB or communications radio [not for music]. Any signal that is received by the vehicle’s two-way radio will be simultaneously broadcast over the vehicle’s loudspeaker (the siren unit must be connected to the two-way radio as outlined in the installation manual).
Can i use 2 300watt cone speaker that is not made by whelen?

What gauge are the power and speaker-to-siren wires?
The power wire is 14 gauge and the speaker wires are a 16 gauge.

My sirens stopped working outside of the vehicle but they can be hear very low from the box itself.
If you haven't already, check the speaker. You might have a loose or disconnected wire.
I'd check the wires, same thing happened to me.
@@SIRENNET is there a way to change the tones on the siren in the back without blasting it through the speakers? maybe a test mode?
