Correct. I met 2 different guards in the late 90s. . One was arrested for child stuff and the other was a meth junky. How to you think they get it into prison.

I could slightly understand if you were a cop on a street, everything around you is hostile territory etc. But in a jail you have the luxury of stepping back, letting a cuffed guy lay there until he's manageable. It's your house, a literal safe room, no need to stand on folks with your 300 lb, can't run anywhere self... hit them with the oc spray, back out until the cuffed guy calms down. He's not escaping, he can't run, he ain't having anybody roll up to help him. You had the time and space to wait and make proper moves, not a panic situation of "gain control or someone might die"... well. Shouldn't of been.

The video is missing a lot before big boy even arrived, as Johnson is already down, cuffed, and not moving. Big boy kneels on his upper left shoulder blade to pin him down. Something else not seen may have contributed to his demise.
That may be totally true however, the jailer should still be charged extensively, maybe not for murder, but attempted murder or manslaughter because in no righteous, sane,and loving world with anyone not charge that obese coward of a jailer for putting his knee and entire body weight on the back and chest of a man lying on the ground that is already handcuffed and not moving OR HOSTILE at the moment.

No, the officers must go to prison for at least 1year. And never allowed to work together again as police officers in the same jail or prison, also, the officers should be made to pay the family 1years salary from each officer out of there own bqnk accounts over the course of two years. The officer should be monitored for a period of 1year with daily check in with a independent count appreciate counselor for stress and drug testing, concerns to mental health and to looking the lives of the officers to understand the officers minds. All this is about punishment and concern for the public safety, and for the officers family.
Help with a possible new job. And oversight to see if the officer is working with a criminal organizations
