Moonspell, absolute legends of Gothic Metal since 1989 - they made some of the most influential and groundbreaking albums of the whole metal genre, such as "Wolfheart" (1995) and "Irreligious" (1996), while always being on a journey of exploration and trying out new elements on each and every record.🖤🦇🌙 No wonder they are one of Portugal's most successful bands nowadays! I love their album "Extinct" (2015) in particular, in fact I would even put it in my TOP 5 albums of all time - so thank you for your great reaction to the explosive title track, Lee!🖤✨️ Fernando's voice is truly shining in this song, like in so many others - how he can switch between obliterating growls and stellar cleans always renders me speechless, as not many vocalists can pull this off so smoothly and at seeming ease. The lyrics are indeed dealing with mankind's apocalypse and how we shall enjoy love and life before our self-made end comes upon us. An even more obvious interpretation would be to see the lyrics as the description of a broken relationship's state - the protagonists want to enjoy one last kiss before their time together turns to dust. Looking forward to bringing more MOONSPELL to the channel, they deserve all the praise and love after many decades of hard work, dedication and blackest magic!
