- Piano/electric duo Grandbrothers perform at Cologne Cathedral to celebrate the 700th anniversary of its consecration, in a spectacular show featuring their ‘augmented’ piano and light show.
This was a very special concert for us - we hope you were able to feel that space a bit! We also recorded an album with all the new music we wrote for that concert. Its called Late Reflections - and will be out Apr 14!

Großartige Musik. Und die Live-Umsetzung hätte ich dem Bau nicht zugetraut. Der ganze Muff ist ja weg. Habe gleich die signierte LP bestellt und freue mich wie Bolle! Vielen Dank!
Manchmal musste ich die Augen schließen, vllt. lag es daran , daß ich auf der Couch eingeschlafen bin und soviele Lichtreflexe nicht ertragen konnte nach dem Erwachen heute Nacht als ich ARTE Concert schaute, unverhofft erstmalig auf Grandbrothers stoßend - aber ich bin voll happy und bald sind sie sogar ganz nah bei mir in einer entweihten Kirche

I was there, on that night. I like coming back and watch this recorded concert. It was very unforgettable event❤️

The evolution of White Nights all the time just blows my mind, that some harmony completely born out from nowehere, like particles started to form objects from absolute noise. Since Open album that's my favourite composition. But the new ones like Bloom, Vertigo and of course North/South are quite coherent to overall world you guys are painting, and I'm happy to be a part of it while listening. Thanks for that!

Aussergewöhliches Konzert - ich hatte die Besprechung der Aufnahme der Platte der Grandbrothers im Synthesizer Magazin gelesen aber wusste nicht dass auch ein Live Konzert stattgefunden hat! Sehr feine Musik - klasse dass ARTE das eingefangen hat!
Im Newsletter konnte man sich anmelden. Habe es aber dann auch ganz knapp nicht geschafft. Das Konzert war frei/gesponsert!

@@MegaCirse Actually, this is one of the reasons I like modern music. I was at a concert by Squarepusher, and it was more like a technical fair to see what new sounds can be made in music. To be honest, it sounded like somebody threw a mobile phone into a blender, but it opened up my mind to so many new sounds, though they were pure chaos, somebody will use them to make melodic fresh harmonies. For the music and all the hearts it stirs.
