Imagine how janina have grown, i mean we love these content, but seeing her now, voicing out what she believed and fougth for it by doing informative vlog just like her series “trendsetter” she really is a woman with principle. I’m amazed.
That feeling when you just arrived from school almost out of breath then you opened youtube to at least see soemthing good. And Janina's new video is the first one to see. Omg. Thanks for making my life a little hyped. HAHAHAHA.
i travelled alone when i was 29 or 30 yo, wish i did it when i was younger so good for you! its liberating and yeah those almost missed connecting flights, forgetting ur luggage and all is part of the process, you will never never happen again. strangely, i love the moments when u have loong lay overs and u get those alone time, window shop or maybe people watch. couple of advice though, if u plan to sleep in between flights, dont put ur headphones on since u might miss special announcements like changing ur flight schedule earlier. also, pack extra clothes and toiletries in ur hand carry, cause ur luggage might get lost during the transfer. if ill have a daughter someday, i do hope she'll be as beautiful and as bubbly as u are, kudos to ur mom for raising such a brave and beautiful person inside and out. i just hope i can be as strong and as brave as ur mom allowing my daughter to travel alone 😬😵 i love watching ur vlogs! im a new mom, i started battling Post partum depression with learning how to put on make up as therapy (since i cant take medications because im also excusively breaastfeeding) and came across ur channel and ive been binge watching since then. take care wherever u are!

The first time I travelled alone was when I had my very first international flight and it was from Manila to San Francisco, USA. It was crazy! And scary! i did a lot of research like immigration, documents to fill in, what needs to be scanned in the xray machine, what are TSA approved, etc.. And US immigration officers are super intimidating. But, I also enjoyed my 2 weeks stay there. Summer in San Francisco are the best! ❤❤❤ #yestonewexperiences #travelalone ✈🎒

i just finished school here in Italy and i am going to Davao and stay in a dorm on my own for a year + i want to search for photography and video editing courses. my relatives live in Koronadal which is quite near, however, i've never lived or travelled on my own, always with a group of friends or the fam. it is scary but i'm also so excited for this new experience. bless you all! :)
I'm 22 and this year was my first time travelling alone from Toronto to San Francisco! Everything about your vlog, I so related omg lol! One lesson I learned is to never be shy to ask.

My first travelling experience was when I was 14. I was travelling to London and stopped by Charles de Gaulle Airport - in Paris, and the immigration was a PAIN IN THE BUTT and I almost missed my flight to London😂 I'm so blessed the stewardess was very kind to guide/supervise me for the whole trip.

I was 17 the very 1st time I traveled ever & I was alone..I was so terrified it was From Philippines to US..This month will be my 20th yr in the US.Never spoke English back then but I was kinda can comprehend..I'm just glad that I was sitting beside someone that was nice to show me how things were..
Dalaga na talaga siya! ha ha ha! I have never been into any foreign country and the farthest that I have traveled was in Naga City! I was 21 then, I think and I was traveling, alone, by a bus going to Naga City in Bicol. And I have had a good time. Yes! I was about to attend a very important seminar-workshop in environmental journalism but it didn't push through. It was cancelled all along but that was the best thing that I have done!
I traveled a couple of times sa Southeast Asia and last year sa South Korea. I love traveling alone because you can explore the places at your own pace, but there's a downside of it too cause you need to ask someone to take your full body shot pics. Lol... I met a lot of new cool friends too. So it's really worth it! Safe trip sayo Janina. 😀👍🏼🛫✈️🛬

Traveled for the first time when I was 18 (so like you) to Paris. Actually, I moved there on my own. I had a layover in Korea (4-5hrs mnl to incheon), which made me super excited but from Korea to Paris (12-13 hrs), I just slept/cried the whole time on the plane hahahahahahaha. Plus there were elderly Parisian women complaining that there weren't any FRENCH films on a KOREAN airline company hahaha

I’m so happy I watched this, I feel like this is the video I’ve been searching for, for so long and I didn’t know I would find it on ate Janina’s channel 🤦🏻♀️😂😅 I’m travelling ALONE in more than one month back home to Philipipines (I’m in Australia) both going there and coming back and I’m so nervous, but just by watching ate Janina get through everything so easily I feel like I have nothing else to worry about 😅

I have travelled to the Philippines alone twice, my first time i just turned 18 and i got delayed in detroit and japan so i ended up staying overnight. It was quite the experience but i am glad it happened because it was a nice learning experience! You guys should try traveling alone, its nice 👍🏼

I'm from Toronto but i've been traveling alone since i turned 18, i've been to the philippines (pampanga) , Japan (tokyo) , Paris, London, Korea, Taiwan, Cali and UAE and i had soo much fun traveling alone, experienced some crazy activities i would have never imagined i would do and met other amazing people.

Hi Janina! I am 26 years old female, employed and planning to travel to singapore - malaysia - thailand from Mindanao and never traveled alone on a plane. (Medyo paranoid). Ito yong mga naisiip ko kung iisipin kong mag t-travel ako mag isa.(Pano kung di ko marinig ang number ng flight ko? Paano kung mawala ako? Paano kung may manloko sakin? Paano na lang kung may humablot sa bag ko? sino tatawagin ko kung mawawala ako? Sino pupuntahan ko? may pagka social anxiety din kasi) Ito yon, kaya ako mag t-travel kasi gusto kong umalis sa comfort zone ko and I want to experience traveling alone. And thank you dahil sa mga ipinakita mong pupuntahan sa airport kung mag ttravel outside the country. Sana madami kapang videong na nag t-travel ka mag isa at pinapakita yong mga experiences mo from manila airport hanggang sa airport ng ibang bansa at kung ano gingawa pagkadating sa ibang bansa. heheh. I hope you can read this and sana mabasa din to ng mga taong naka travel nang mag isa at mag bigay sila ng advice sa mga taong gustong magtravel mag isa.

My first time travelling alone was from California to the Philippines. Within the 15-16 hour flight I only slept a couple of hours cos I thought if I slept through the time when they give out the food that I wont get mine LOL. Have fun on your trip!!

I traveled alone at age 14 to New York for a Montessori Adolescent Summit! The summit was held at Washington DC but my flight was to New York! I was a minor, so Philippine Airlines flight crew really took care of me! They call my name before the flight and was able to stay at Business Class 30 minutes before landing! It was really fun and you really feel the independence kicking in!

I recently solo traveled to Korea last June! It was soooo fun! I also met new friends there. It was definitely life changing :)
My first travel alone is when i was 15 and honestly, at first i didn't really like it cuz i don't have someone to talk to but at the end of the day, i felt more independent and like a new person being awayyyy from my comfort zone.

I love traveling, my first time (without parents) would be flying to LA. I wish I could get to travel more in future but it was a learning experience, different too because you're learning on your own.
First time I traveled alone was when I went to Europe. Had 3 connecting flights which was also a first since my trips to the US before were all direct flights. Nerve wracking but fulfilling at the same time :)

Hello Janina. Hope you enjoy your Singapore Airlines trip. I used to work with SQ Manila. Next time you fly look for Ms Charina or Ms Peanut and Ms Claire and try to request a good seat or even give you an upgrade to business class if there is a full flight.

Yes 🙋🏻 I've traveled alone in Armenia it was fun specially if you're new to the country, you want to try the best food, explore the country and you'll feel that you're so much independent but kinda hard din coz no one will take a picture of you 😂

I just flew from California to Chicago, IL by myself! It was scary and exciting and stressful haha. Luckily I didn't have to transfer planes like you did...I think I would have been more stressed out than excited xD It's so much better if you have a whole of seats to yourself (no tripping over and accidentally sitting on someone when you have to go pee hehe)
This is so great to watch! traveling alone is a great experience. Being the only girl, my parents really took care of me and accompanied me everywhere even to Manila. But God writes amazing plot twists. I was left with no choice but to learn how to commute in a different country. I was sheltered in the Philippines but I did "break free" haha, for a few days, at New York City because I went to Harvard last February 2014. Two years later, I went back for the same reason (HPAIR) God is so amazing. The flights and getting lost all brought me closer to Him. especially since I didn't spend anything when these trips happened.
traveling alone is a joy. It's like a more intimate date with God, somewhere unfamiliar. And the only thing familiar to you is His faithfulness and presence. Traveling alone is stressful but is blissful.
also, I'm so happy you vlogged this because I have vlogs on the airport but I was shy oftentimes so there were many montages I didn't get to shoot. I also didn't upload them because I don't know how to edit yet hehe.

Travelling alone has its perks and what not. I've traveled to Taiwan alone. It was quite an experience. It's good to experience it when your younger. I was already in my 30s when I first travelled alone. Lol
I love traveling alone! There is certain adrenaline! I traveled alone to Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Myanmar and Laos. Just all by myself!
