It was okay, since people nowadays doesn't realise that lots of people then used chewing tobacco, which made you constantly spit. It was even portrayed in old cartoons, where old geezers spited in special spit cauldrons.

One of my All-time Favorite Eastwood movies👍🏾
Still one of my favorite films
Clint came right out of the gate as a legend. Westerns would have arguably died off long ago had he not. Credits to the director for seeing the "Grit"-factor that he has inherently. Haven't seen anyone come within a country mile of him at playing a "bad guy doing good" or if you'd rather the "Anti-Hero" archetype. He truly seemed bad in his general actions, while still keeping a semblance of having good morals at the core. So happy I own the trilogy, many people have forgotten this gem nowadays, but it'll never truly be forgotten.
Id say Keanu has nailed it with John Wick but thats my opinion
❤👍👍👍👍
You got Anti-hero right. In High Plains Drifter, his character unironically sexually assault a woman for insulting him.
For a few dollars more is probably my favorite Western of all time, I love the trilogy as a whole
@@TheBoxingCannabyte I'm inclined to agree, but the aside from the settings being polar opposites, Clint never really established much backstory in his films. Literally giving the audience almost none in the dollars trilogy. The outfit being the only clue that he's even the same character at all.
