Yes we put up a couple shorts. Love the rifle. It’s not a 2k rifle smooth but smooth as butter for a $600 rifle. Trigger is amazing. Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
I has a similar experience but I bought the Remington 700 bases from Talley. Sure enough the holes didn't line up so I called Talley. A very knowledgeable gentleman at Talleys told me the Rem 700 bases were incorrect for my CZ 600 Lux. I was told to send back the bases and they would send me the correct bases. Mailed them back k and when I received the new bases they fit like a glove. Once I scoped it the rifle shots very well and will replace my CZ 527 carbine.
Hello Mag318, do you mind sharing the replacement part number that tally send you. I picked up the Leupold Remington 700 2-pieces base but the screws have the wrong thread. So I don’t want to force them in. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
I got lucky running into an article discussing the CZ 600 receiver difference between the 223 vs larger calibers (308 win ex.) before I purchased the 223 Lux. The larger rifle calibers should be able to use Remington 700 bases ( CZ for the screws use #6-48). As for the 223, the "mini" receiver can only use CZ's scope rail mentioned in the video or Remington 2 piece scope mounts. It took sometime searching, but I was able to find Trijicon's (TR117) 1913 Picatinny Steel Scope Base 2 - Piece and the screws actually fit the receiver (with a couple of spares also). Unfortunately, the TR117 is discontinued and you might still find some for sale around $100.
It was an adventure for sure and a very elderly gentleman at bass pro shop showed me exactly what I would need in order to mount a scope and if it had not been for him, I may still be looking for the proper mount lol. Neither would work only a 2-piece unless you order the rail from CZ. Yes you could file the screws but you run risk with that as well. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
I just picked up a CZ 600 American 223 and was having buyers remorse when researching scope mount options. This video is very valuable. Thank you.
Yes sir thank you and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Very helpful, especially for someone like me who's been considering one of these. Have you shot this rifle? How's the action in terms of smoothness?

Hopefully @mag318 can help you out with that
@@gvang577 I no longer have the packaging that came with the Talley items. But if you call Talley they will happily tell which one to have.
Thanks for the info
I would of had a stroke lol. Your patience is commendable but at least I know how to do it if I find one I like
I’m not a patient person at all lol. I almost had a stroke for sure lol.

Great video. I would be a lot more beneficial if you can list out the model numbers of that parts that you ended up going with, in the description.
Let’s me see what I can find out
Rifleman Remington 700 55890
Went through the same thing, forget the solution I came out with, but it was a serious hassle.

Screws too long ? Use a file. Remington 700 rails come in two lengths, short and long.
Neither would work only a 2-piece unless you order the rail from CZ. Yes you could file the screws but you run risk with that as well. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Single piece rail is not the way to go.
Not it is not. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
