@@detryckvondoom4350 its such bullshit they didnt fix the bass when they remastered justice for the anniversary release. Shame that some of the tracks on justice for jason aren't the real bass tracks. Some are though fortunately. Honestly Jason's playing and tone is my favorite for Metallica

Everybody forgets one fact, that Jason after the important album openers like Hit the Lights, Fight Fire and Battery written by James, suddently joins the band and writes the opening riff for the Blackened, the opening track of their most succesfull and intricate metal album to date

I’m not a Newsted fan, but he’s a good player and it’s a bit sad that all he will be remembered for is being erased from an entire album.
I definitely wouldn’t want to be in the position of having to try and fill such massive shoes. Gotta be tough, even if you had band support like say, Jake E. Lee stepping into Randy’s spot.

I have always been a fan of Metallica's theme (on the first 4 albums) of their fast #1 track songs. This and 'Hit The Lights' are by far my favorite. Just straight thrash and fast! Justice was served on this rendition!!

este álbum fue una brutalidad así como fue, ahora imagínense si el imbécil de Lars no hubiese reducido el sonido del Bajo, el álbum hubiese sido aún más brutal de lo que fue. hermano le hiciste justicia a Jason con este cover 10/10.

You got the massive right hand attack (ala, Burton Harris) that a lot of folks don’t really know how much strength, control and stamina are required to pull off this kind of percussive string attack.

No pedals. Just straight in to the Microtubes 900. Drive at 10 o’ clock, Blend at about 3 o’ clock, Tone and Level straight up. Bass at about 2 o’ clock, Low Mids (500Hz) about 10 o’ clock, High Mids (3kHz) about 2 o’ clock, Treble straight up. Running through a DG410C with a Shure Beta 52 up close.
