My god, you are very skilled at videoagraphy, your composition, cuts, cameras and music. I dont think anyone understands how many cuts your doing. What a drive you have to produce such great work. I dont think your audience understands your skills..

It seems clear that she is quite able and willing to assert herself when needed, a trait that, from what you told us in an earlier episode, let her to convince you not to sell the boat. That took conviction and strength of character, particularly since you were in an earlier stage of your relationship.
Your waterfall video segment is outstanding, the subdued lighting was perfect, and how you framed Daniela in her pink bikini against the dark side of the waterfall was spot-on. The drone footage today was great as usual.
Dominica has a lot of beauty and magic! Daniela has grown leaps and bounds in the time we've known her which says a lot about her intelligence and heart. The growth in both of you in such a short time says you both may have found that magical "needle in a haystack" in each other. Thanks for sharing with us.

The pancake burgers look good, worked with a guy several years ago that used to make sandwiches with leftover waffles. The waffles would work better than the pancakes but you have to use whatever you’ve got.

Hello Huub & Daniela. After watching this video, I see the differences in both your heights. I am unsure of your ages, but that does not matter. Like you, I sailed around with a partner. We were both 24 yo, me being 175cm (5ft 9in) and the love of my life was a tiny 139cm (4ft 7in). She was a Filipino, but spoke very great english, so communication was very easy from the start, as english was the language I was brought up speaking. At 25 we bought our 1st (and only) boat. A 45ft catamaran. My "love" was a city girl at heart, but grew up with the beach at her doorstep, but was not so great at swimming hehe. From the day we met, she knew I wanted to sail the world and for the first 14-15 months, I took my "love" onto our great friends boat (38 ft mono hull). It was here that my "love" learned the basics and became proficient at sailing. When we bought our boat/home, we lived aboard for 3 months, getting out to sail as often as my land job allowed. After 3 months, we set sail for our first 2 thirds trip around Australia, then off to the Pilipines to meet her parents (for the first time). Sailing, just the 2 of us, over those 1st 5-6 months, we (as you both know) became so used to sailing, each other being there 24/7, it made the next 29 yrs together a truely magical experience. In the 30 yrs together, we NEVER argued, raised our voices (except against the wind/weather). We sailed 13 times around the world, visited 131 countries, learnt to speak many languages, all whilst raising/skooling our 2 children, before sending them off to University. After my "love" passed away, I handed my former home/boat over to my son. Now he and his wife are doing the same thing. It has been 10yrs now, without my "love", as I could not sail, full time, without her. 2-3 times each year, I join my son (and family) and sail "somewhere" for 2-6 weeks. Giving me time to spend with my grand children. Before my "love" passed, we had travelled just short of 500k Nm, but since my son has my old home and with my visits, I have managed to overtake the 500k Nm. Time is precious. I see that Daniela, has progressed from a shy, tiny columbian lady, to a capable sailer. For that I have to give Daniela big praise and Huub, for his persistence in helping and guiding her along the way. I wish you both success and happiness where ever the seas take you. Oh, just a quick note to Daniela, look at shops/markets for sarongs to wear. They help to keep the wind/sun from damaging your precious skin and are so comfortable to wear. Let me know if you do not know what a sarong is.
Your decision on alcohol use was made for the absolute right reasons and as you said that maybe in the future you may decide to have it again. At that point I’m sure it will be for the reasons that are compatible to/ with your personal situation.

Now as you have Daniela on your side, you can think about having a Spanish and an English version in future. Daniela would then take the story-telling part in the Spanish version, so you can use your footage twice. Maybe there are some Spanish speaking people that are interested in your story as well 😉

@TRIPLEWHOPPER Depends on what you like. For me, SCUBA diving! Need room for gear: storage, cleaning, drying; and a dive compressor. One Life does this the best on a smaller two person mono hull. Calico skies... ok channel but I find their cockpit is cluttered and messy. If they did extensive diving, the boat is just too small. Nanji. They have a child now and a bit larger boat but Yosh has an inventory of surf boards. His passion. But they are often in the way. I've thought a lot about this and what I would do. For me, it would be two things. Sailing and diving. That would give my YT channel (if I did one) some uniqueness. Don't know a channel with that focus. Exp Drenched was kinda that. My focus would be diving in remote(r) locations. Accessible by sail. Not going to burn tons of diesel to get there. I would also have a portable hyperbaric chamber. A catamaran would be the best platform. Lottery... please shine on me!
