@Rafael Arturo Mateo Núñez well yes but actually no. Privates give a lot of merit scholarships. My older bro is going to McKenna, one of the Claremont colleges for full ride. But my other bro, goes to a public and has to pay more cause they are more stingy with the financial aid. They both had similar stats in high-school, its just that privates give "blind" financial aid, which means they solely look at merit rather than income Edit: Also, a lot of companies will hire you straight out of college just because you went to a prestigious one. Very elitist, but it is what it is.
what are some schools that are like harvey mudd but less selective and have less pressure? i really like how hm focuses on stem but also values a well-rounded liberal arts education
