Kevin here in Fort Lauderdale. Great video, Scott, what a gorgeous city and beautiful pathways. I really admire your composure to maintain your speed and control with the Ownboard, while providing clear, steady commentary of the boards features, ALL WHILE self filming the entire ride without a glitch! You're one of the rare masters, Scott, who makes it look easy. I'd love to see a video someday on your tips for self filming. I'm going to make it down to Brisbane someday for an extended stay and hopefully cruise those pretty pathways. BTW, the footage of the night time one wheel race was intense, loved it. Good health and safe riding.
Thank you for mentioning the first ever 2023 Elizabeth Quay Cup in Perth. I was hoping to see it swing past on your channel. Not sure why you changed the music to the promo video though as the original tunes are way better. Anyways it is going to be an awesome day! Thanks again for the mention.
I changed the music as I don’t have the rights to it, I’d hate to get a copyright strike, If I had permission from the artist or music company to use not a problem Unfortunately TH-cam is very strict All the music I use I pay for
So Cool to have met you and talk, you much cooler in person haha, one Love Brotha, ant wait to meet again, great entertaining Video. That board looks Amazing, too bad ones I whent to Diy I kind of lost Love for Stock boards soni advise to keep doing what you doing brotha lol.
Ordered this board 2 weeks ago (Used SCOTTB) & I've been hanging for this range test, FANTASTIC!! Not a fan of the oil slick rims either, but won't see them when I'm riding! 55km with one stop is super impressive too, flex boards FTW! :)
Such an awesome board. Great result and I couldn’t agree more about the esk8con tip. Such a nice location and I have to say I’m a bit jealous of the weather up there.
I am so jealous of the beautiful paths you have to ride I have only 2 bike paths in Tucson which are alright I guess. I would love to visit Australia it seems so beautiful in every video.
I got back into skating using and started to use it a comute to work. From there I wanted something that could deal with some gravel and a e-skate with 6 or 7 inch wheels seemed like a fun answer.
Mine arrived yesterday. Thanks for the code. Went all the way from Tinny Creek through Wynnum, Manly, to the Lytton BP truckstop before I realised I was running out of good trails haha. 28km return and just dropped the first bar about 2km from the end. It's a range beast. My feet will give out long before the board will. I'm running the 120mm Cloud Wheels atm, but I'd like a look at some 6-7in pneumatics with split rims. Got any recommendations?
I'm guessing 25 miles at 8 minutes into the video. I'll be buying a Zeus this upcoming Friday. I'm still flip flopping back and forth between the Zeus Pro carbon and this board but I guess I'll make my mind up by Friday. Thanks for the discount code by the way. All the best.
Imo if you're going to get the bamboo (from personal experience), id say that it's def bouncier and easier to manoeuvre while commuting. Just know that wood will age and cracks may form. As well as cracks, wood will def chip if you're riding aggresively (and note that weak points such as screws will get loose overtime). a carbon deck won't form cracks and screws will be tight all throughout. I haven't yet changed the grip tape on a carbon deck but im assuming that it's going to be the same with minor scratches on the edge due to applying the tape. the deck it self will def be stiffer than bamboo and cracks/potholes will be a pain, but if you're going to ride with pneumatic tires it shouldn't be a problem. all in all, it really comes down to personal preference, both being equally as great. hope I could clear your mind a bit.
Ahhhh I'm torn. Had planned on ordering the Bamboo Zeus this week but the Osprey has me intrigued to say the least. Dying for someone to put out a range test on the bird.
Mate I was 100% fine I mentioned at the end I could have easily kept going I think the bamboo deck has a lot to do with it, it absorbs a lot of the vibrations
Thanks for posting this! You said you now believe the board is too low with the 100mm boas...were you bottoming out or was the ride in some way affected? Was planning on putting the boas on when I get mine as I really want a street wheel option and don't like cloud wheels...thanks again!
Hi mate The sole reason was at my place we have like 9 speed bumps and it pissed me off getting off to go over As for out on the street it rode perfect
HOLY MOLY I was JUST watching one of your other videos on this board and thought, "wHen Is ScOtT mAkInG a ViD fOr RaNgE oN tHe ZeUs BaMbOO?"...... thank you!
I messaged support the other day and they sent me a picture of the extra grip tape they send with it. It’s the grip tape from the Carbon Zeus Pro. It looks better imo as well.
Hey I like your reviews I’m wanting to get me a good all around board under 1500 I live in USA in Georgia ,,, I love to ride skate boards I’ve had a few cheap long boards but I’m not rich guy,,,, if you had to buy only one board. What would you get?? I need distance fro where I live so range is more important then speed ,,, but don’t want a slow poke ,.. I weigh 185 lbs ,,, I ride off raid and street ,,, what would you recommend ? Thanks brother
The best way to test is,, close your eyes stand with your feet next to each other and lean forward until you almost fall; The foot you step forward on will be the front foot on your board
⚡ *The silver/white hubs though* 🤩⚡ Looks much better overall from that one small change! The love between all the riders was radiatin through the videos of esk8con so I can only imagine how it was in person. I remember seein that Aussie event video, impressive but they really should have raised more awareness of it beforehand! You ended up doin a range test of the Go Pro too 😂

Thanks for the shout out Scott. We will be sure to update you with a livestream link soon, so you can still enjoy from abroad.

Great video Scott! Thanks again for your help with Ownboard support and getting them to send me a new rear truck hanger so quickly. Cheers mate!
Great work from the Electric Racing League crew - good luck for the event!
cheers Ronan. See you down at the track this Saturday?
Such an awesome board. Great result and I couldn’t agree more about the esk8con tip. Such a nice location and I have to say I’m a bit jealous of the weather up there.
Was one of the best event of the year for sure mate
Great stuff Scott! We made sure the deck was super comfortable for long range rides! Hopefully next year we can join the Wolfpack!
Always room in the pack !
Awesome video Scott 🛹
Wow! Brand new video!
That E racing deal in Perth looks like a good time. I'd love to go.

What's the stability like at high speed? I have an acedeck x1 and can comfortably do 50-55 kph without worrying.
Very stable
They use a nice split angle TKP base place and truck combo

Coming soon
Good stuff
How do your legs and feet feel after a ride that long? Looks fun.
Good question!
Mate I was 100% fine I mentioned at the end I could have easily kept going
I think the bamboo deck has a lot to do with it, it absorbs a lot of the vibrations
Sweet, thanks for the reply. My battery always runs out of juice before I’m ready to go home. My next board is going to have max range.
How would you compare this board to the Propel endeavour Pro? Comparison form all angles ofc :))

Adding as well that I wanted the wheels to have some color...
@@scottdaviesyoutube perfect thanks!

Is the board coming with an extra different grip tape? I've heard that somewhere, also heard that the other grip tape looks much nicer.
I messaged support the other day and they sent me a picture of the extra grip tape they send with it. It’s the grip tape from the Carbon Zeus Pro. It looks better imo as well.
Im going for 25 miles on A/Ts My Meepo Hurricane gets 15-18 miles on the same set up (110 KG of me) 28 miles on 110mm torque boards

How much is the board for Australians?
Felt like l was in a warehouse Rave in the 90s here in Melbourne. 😮😊
Perfect !
Haha just the vibe I was hoping for,
All we needed was some Hocus-Pocus ! 😉
Hi Scott, i expect the board to go around 36 Km
Im planing to get my first board, how do you know which foot to put in the front left or right?
The best way to test is,, close your eyes stand with your feet next to each other and lean forward until you almost fall;
The foot you step forward on will be the front foot on your board

The problem was getting everything sorted through state government we were ready weeks ago
I'd say a good test for a range test, in the real world hills exist
Oh 100% these were just relentless.
Long, steep
My guess is 28 miles.
Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries* ;)
Why is nobody testing these things on slope.
