interview sound post production, how to clean sound, what different sound effect are used for? for example dynamic processing and how to use them. (some things I know, but it would be hella beneficial to find out exact info from professionals )
Would be good to have a video about every responsibility of a sound mixer on set. Like a list of basic gear that you need in a serious set. From sound cart to Moleskin. I know is a lot but I haven't found a video like that in TH-cam. I'm starting to jump from prosumer to pro and men, it's a lot to take in consideration in terms of gear and lingo. Thanks for all your awesome videos. I've been looking for a starter shotgun mic and Deity sounds like a great deal.
I would love to see a video on how to set up antennas for your wireless, to go longer distances. Another video I would like to see is how to setup a wireless boom.
We've been toying around with a video idea about setting a world record for distance with a wireless microphone. If we broke down the science of the antennas and the theory would that work?
I think it'd be really useful to do a video about expected practices on set, as far as room tone, how to communicate with camera, HOW TO TAKE A SOUND REPORT, and how to deal with standing up for the need to "wait for sound" so it gets enough attention as camera while setting up the shot.
I got ahold of Andrew at Deity a few weeks ago and he said "we are still waiting to claim a winner. the youtube numbers are still too low to meet the the contest threshold", can't find any specifics about the contest threshold rules from YT.
is there a convenient solution for a one man band (no i don't mean Phil Collins..) shooting interviews in client's premises eg. offices/ houses. etc) please?
Never underestimate the usefulness of sound blankets. Remember this, assistant directors, when you complain about how time-consuming and cumbersome using them on set will be (they aren't).
I love sound blankets. One of the most useful things for a soundie to bring on location.
Had to use two today. Photography studios are not video studios LOTS of hard untreated walls.
Would love a video about the whole metadata, timecode syncing, delivering your sound files process. Don’t really see anything on TH-cam about that!!

I love the quality of your videos and valuable Info...Please what are you using for your camera and Beautiful Text on screen
It'd be great to have a video about the difference in gain/trim and fader?
If you only had one blanket (I have multiple, I'm just curious), where would you place it in this scenario?

Watch the channel tomorrow. I think you'll be happy to see what we post.
Rad!
Was this (or another) the "winning comment"? I don't see contact and I tried to make an inquiry in the FB user group but it was removed.
@@KyleMahaney did you win, who won?

A video about how to use / protect microphones in the rain / wet environment would be great.
... you could just buy an S-Mic 2 when they officially go on sale LOL *shameless plug*
yeah..but what about this: will it be ok with a atomic acid rain with quicksilver hail..? Haa!
this was very helpful

The time to set them up pales in comparison to the cost of ADR in post!
Can this work on a staircase
Setting up time code and wireless boompole would make a cool video.
YES!!!!!!!!
Thank you once again for a highly informative video. I had no idea pigs can digest human bones!
How to get good audio in a restaurant/a public location
