I had seen her only once back in the late 1970s and she was amazing! I wish it was on film but I revisit that time everytime I hear her records. Be glad you were born in 1989. I was in gradeschool when her career started already! And she's still with us, thank the Lord for that!
Joni's words, music and voice endure....such an incredible gift she has given the world. Her voice may be stilled due to health issues, she is nonetheless uplifting and inspirational.
I'd say singer-song-writer-musicians, though, as they each have been so much more than merely "singers." Both are truly original, brilliantly creative, & innovative, legendary musical artists...I love them both, too 👍💙🎶
