This song is based on the lifestyle of the people of the Old Dhaka, sung in the accent of Old Dhaka (Puran Dhaka). A sad piece of information, the day before this program, mother of Hayder Hossain died. It was told at the end of the program.

Hyder has captured my heart. That mystic voice, beautiful strumming, and the simplicity in the lyrics which I do not understand. but Hyders' expressions translates the theme of the lyrics. I am from the southern part of India living in north India and been a common face on stage with guitar some 25 years ago. We consider music is divine and a gift of Ma Saraswati. Hyder I believe is a simpleton true believer and hence Allah has conferred the divine art on this wonderful man. God Bless.
