Not very many folks sew at home any more. It's probably hard to find dress patterns anywhere anymore. The usefulness of the item is so diminished that a person would hesitate to spend a lot on it.

damn that hickory sewing machine cabinet was worth $1500 or more , people do not know what it takes to make things like that. $450 for that is theft.

Agreed. It should've gone for at least a thousand considering time and material. I'd pay a lot for that quality before I got particle board from Ikea.
