Many many love and ashirwat from Pakistan I really love and respect you sir I am watching your videos since 2019 and the way you explain physics concept is awesome
Sir I am student of class 10 sir I was just watching your videos on structure of atom and I have a doubt on that and that is that a wave is associated with every particle (matter wave) I have a doubt that in which medium is the matter wave travells in as waves need a medium to travel and every medium has it's own basic property like electromagnetic field have it's property in which electromagnetic waves can only travel at CONSTANT speed and that is speed of light (c) then what is the CONSTANT speed of matter waves and in which medium these matter waves travels in. Sir please clear my doubt.
Matter waves and electro - magnetic waves do not need any medium ( sunlight travels in vaccum to reach earth i.e. no medium ) . You will study this in class 12 so wait for it .
@meetkumar8810 but the properties of matter waves and electro-magnetic waves are very different as when a matter wave is not observed it acts as a wave but when observed by a conscious observer it collapses into a definite particle and on the other hand the properties of electro-magnetic waves remain the same while being observed by a conscious observer or had been done a experiment in absence of a conscious observer, the results will gonna be same. So how matter waves and electro-magnetic waves are same? Could anyone please clear my doubt
@@Atharv7478 sorry , I checked that matter waves and em waves are different so I changed my answer ( or to and ) . But yes , even the physicists of that time were baffled by a wave that do not require a medium. As it is said " universe have no obligations to make sense to you " . For advanced concepts of physics you have to change your conservative mindset that waves always require a medium or time is same for everyone or electron have a physical significance at quantum level , etc . And for your second question of matter waves lamda = h/mv Therefore it have no constant speed in vaccum as they are dependent on particle . Matter waves are produced by either very small mass and very high speed . I believe you should wait to go in college where you can quench your thirst for knowledge .
