I never thought that someone could model wooden railroad to the quality of model railroads. I've been proven wrong. This is absolutely beautiful, and your take on Chicago Union Station looks outstanding. The wooden models are teriffic and everything else just looks magnificent. Continue the great work because this is something not a lot of people I know do. The locomotives you have and rolling stock w/ passenger cars, busses/trolleys etc are just so nice. Your railroad is realistic with mainlines and yards and trumps most of the layouts ive seen in Ho/N. The more I watch the more I see that this is packed with detail, eye candy at every corner and the plans you have, like the roundhouse expansion is great. The amount of hours you put into this is well worth it. Absolutely terrific job on it all.
Thank you for these compliments! I grew up watching wooden train layout videos from people like ThomasWoodenRailway and watching wooden Thomas remakes. As much as I loved seeing peoples layouts, they were almost always one of two things: -Unrealistic massive layout with tracks going everywhere, no clear mainline, with out-of-scale and unrealistic destinations like a line going through a barn. -Small sets, but the wooden trains are surrounded by realistic HO trees, buildings, cars, and ballast. It looks realistic until you see the wooden rails and trains. What I tried to do was make a realistic track layout, but I stuck with wooden items. Such as blocks, Cats Meow buildings, wooden buildings I pick up at antique stores, and only realistic trains and destinations. I wanted to keep the wooden/toy aesthestic. I am glad you could see what I was going for!
Super. Hello from the Tracy Mountain Railway in Colorado. P.S. "Someone is going to get fired." Nothing like being lead maintenance guy and the president of your railroad. 💙 T.E.N.
Maybe at some point in the future. The point of the channel was not to be a Thomas channel, but I will admit ThomasWoodenRailway was a massive inspiration. Same with Jlouvier.
This is by far the only model trains I can afford as I am broke. Also where did you get yourself your Santa Fe and union pacific engines they look really good
Do you mean the wooden blocks? The wooden blocks I am not sure of what brand they are. They're simple wooden building blocks I got off Facebook Marketplace. For platforms and the smaller blocks, they're bootleg Jenga pieces

Whittle Shortline
Well well well a grown man playing with wooden trains play with plushie bro like andrewjohn100 or slyp1e
where did you get the IC e8?
Whittle Shortline made it.
I have the acela
The camera moves, the trains do not.
I aplogize but the trains cannot move on their own unless they are battery powered
Can you actually have battery powered wooden trains?
@@Ayden2008 The vast majority of them are unrealistic, but I do have some battery powered engines.
@@USAWoodenRailway Just push them 😒
