Those allegations are false btw, this allegations spawned on TikTok and the ones who did it admitted to had made it up. But they got brought it to twitter when people where mad at Vian for some dumbass video he made talking about some drama over someone who ACTUALLY DID bad stuff to minors. Vian did made mistakes but he never harrassed anyone in his community.
I checked the comments of octoboy’s latest video and someone said they missed him, then someone said “he told me he’s taking a break due to burnout” and octoboy himself replied to the person who said that: “who are you”
I remember JabrilHere. She had a Discord server and I joined it when I was way too young to be on Discord in the first place, and I was so damn annoying on there. I was eventually kicked off, which was the right thing to do I think. There are just so many videos I remember watching on her channel that are gone.
A lot of them were involved in a scandal known as the lewd house. Basically yucky discord server that was made yuckier with minors and uh, yeah. All of them vanished to cover their asses

Another reason for his inactivity is because he doesn't want to look back at his 20s and see him just editing a bunch of Splatoon videos. He's unfortunately not really planning to come back. 😔

There was a German TH-camr called Destinycast. I grew up with him and if you liked splatoon and were German, you probably watched his videos. He really was like a hub for the German splatoon community. His channel got taken down last year because of grooming children the ages of 12-14 when he was 22. I really miss him, because I loved his content and his videos and guides would often help me out.
I remember another “Splatoon TH-camr”. I don't know what his full name was on TH-cam but it was something with "Samuel". What I remember is that it was on TH-cam from Splatoon 1 and 2 hack videos. He always showed different hacking tricks and also the background of Splatoon maps. I think he had any problems with Nintendo because of his content either. Nothing was heard from him after that
Genuinely surprised Nintendome wasn't on here. That guy broke down every single updates/patchnotes with great detail! His videos became pretty much an ASMR of mine during the Splat 1 days. He practically vanished late-2015/early 2016. Never seeing a Splatoon 2 video from him. :(
