My mom died before I was two years old, so I have no memory of her They lived on a small ranch in a small town in Montana "Buffalo" in a book someone wrote about the small rural community "in the shadow of the three sisters" ( peaks in one of the mountain surrounding them) she wrote of my mother Ruth " you could hear her so singing over the mountains My dad sang, also and see learned many old time songs from him. You can't be true dear" '"Mexicali Rose... it's pretty special to be included in a book giving me information about my mom!❤️🥰
Wow. I don't know if Granny's voice has lost any of its power, but she has a really sweet voice and still hits the notes spot on key. I'm guessing she must sing around the house a lot to keep her vocal cords so limber.
