      @@CortexNewsService i'm sitting at home with more than 3 feet of snow on the ground.. and its just the beginning. tonight we expect 6-12 inches. we dont melt here till mid-april. NE Washington. We just got out of our -12 to -20 deg weather, for now. I love it!! Think I'll make some tea.

      Is instant tea tea? is instant coffee coffee? NO! But the cider is -kind- of tea, because it's not the pure juice but steeped apple bits. But it's still instant stuff, not like the pod-style stuff

      It's literally just an instant drink powder not tea in even the broadest definition of the word lol. If you call that tea then instant lemonade powder is tea. Or powdered Gatorade. Or crystal light.

    The spiced apple cider is incredible. It's what got me to really start trying different cider based beverages from non-alcoholic to alcoholic. I do think if it had half the sugar it would be even better as it can be a weeeeeee bit too sweet, but it is phenomenal regardless. ~Be Blessed

      They make a sugar free but it's got aspartame. I wish beverage companies would make "light" versions. A bit of artificial sweetener (not aspartame or saccharine lol) and a bit of sugar.

    Thats funny you guys never had the apple cider stuff, i grew up on it! I even got a packet at home from my mom from xmas haha. I never really considered it a tea though. But i guess if powdered chai tea is a thing, then this can be considered tea too 🤷‍♂️

      I agree, it's not really a tea in my mind either. When I think of something that is made from steeping something in hot water. Apple Cider which that packet is intended to be a quick version of is unfiltered apple juice that's been heated and spiced. Maybe I don't define Tea the same way as other people?

      Technically only drinks made from the leaves of the tea tree are "tea" but since the term has been colloquially applied to "infusions" (like most herbal drinks e.g. chamomile), then yes, it's a sort of tea... but then again, I also classify cereal as a type of soup and tacos as a style of sandwich...

    Sorry try channel, the "Apple cider" packet is not a tea. It is exactly what it says, powdered apple cider drink. But I agree, it is a delicious change from coffee and tea in general.     I use the spiced apple cider for hot toddy’s. It’s great with any whiskey! Use fireball for a big cinnamon kick 🥃

    OMG DAMON! I can't believe he actually said that! I nearly spit out my tea! ROFL. Not a fan of flavored teas. I drink 3 quarts of unsweetened iced tea each day. Plain tea, no sugars or sweeteners is the way I like it. Licorice spice??? Sounds gross. But I could be convinced to try that apple cider one. Sounds delish.

      I think licorice root is used more as a natural sweetener for herbal teas. You can taste a little tingle of it on the tongue, but mostly the sweet comes through.

      I find a lot of lavender stuff in Montana. In some bakeries they put it in coffee as well.

      A local apiary used to make her own infused honey and one of her best sellers was the chamomile lavender honey (*wonderful* for teas). The top three were rounded out by the chocolate honey (fair trade and all that) and, oddly, the habañero honey.

    You've inspired me to get my Barry's and have a hot evening cup. I really like Paddy and Paul together. And the cider is so good. We have that here in America (I'm in VA) it's also great with some Jamesons and a lemon slice in it. Wink wink

      ​@@cptjeff1, it seems to be a toss-up...the apple cider has immensely more Vitamin C in it (Kool-Aid tops at 10-20% per serving, the cider has *80%*), but it appears that the cider has more sugar added to it than the "less sugar" Kool-Aid (20g in the cider, 16g in the Kool-Aid)...but that last part may be half a serving of the Kool-Aid.

    For the #STASH Tea, my sister actually makes popsicles out of that specific flavor. They're really good too!

      I love Stash teas, my favorite is “Christmas in Paris,” which is a peppermint-lavender-chocolate. It sounds like a weird combination, but it’s truly decadent and delicious!

    Yeah, we switched to the hot apple cider with a shot of brandy, for when I'm a good boy and I go out and plow the snow out of the driveway. Much better than hot chocolate or coffee.

    You need to take that apple cider packet and combine it with Stash Holiday Chai tea. Omg... The best mix ever. This is how I drink it. You won't be disappointed. 😉

    I wonder if the flavor would be enhanced if milk and/or sugar (or honey) were added to the drinks. From what I see, all of the TRYers are drinking the teas with nothing added. I prefer all of my teas to at least have some honey or a bit of sugar. 🍵Nice video TRYers. 👍

      They have some of my favorites! Bengal Spice is the best herbal "chai," Tension Tamer is my all time favorite. I like the lemon lavender, and for extra caffeine Fast Lane. We visited the factory and did the tour several years ago. You could taste every tea they made.
