One of my favorites that’s car related is when you break a window, when you walk next to it, it crunches like you’re walking on broken glass. And the door chimes when you open it, all the gauges work (fuel, temperature etc), tire pop when they get too hot, the exhaust backfire actually lights fires, you can’t turn on high beams while on your phone since your hand is occupied… there’s probably even more that I’m not even thinking of.

Have 2 or 3 other "civs" volunteer to be a part of cartel/gang and have the "informant" be a part of crimes (or a major crime) and the agent comes in and bails out the informant while the other guys get taken to jail. Basically, the agent needs to explain and justify with the cops why the informant must come with you. And the agent is the one coordinating the crimes for his benefit without the other "civs" knowing he's an agent.
