      I have to disagree unfortunately .... this video lacks a lot of details and is just a basic : shift your weight back and pop off.... what does the front foot do ? Is it passive is it active ? what do your arms and upper body do ? how should it feel ? Should i try to lift my knees to my body ? etc etc... none of my questions as a beginner have been answered :(

    I used to ride a bunch, but I've taken a break for the last 3 or so years and getting back out there I'm kinda lacking the leg strength and confidence to spring myself up the way I used to

    • @Malfurionxtc
      @Malfurionxtc 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      there is something called "muscle memory" so you will be fine in no time... For me its much more difficult situation, I had my 8th or 9th day on the snowboard yesterday (in a 2 seasons time span) , and just did my first couple of amateur pops while riding, learning good ollie will take me more time than for you do remind yourself.

    My Ollie’s suck. I can nollie higher and tweak more. Idk why. Maybe the nose has more flex? Idk what it is

  • @Rekaw97
    @Rekaw97 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    So you ollie using just back leg? What's legs movment? After I'm in tail press position do I straighten back leg and bend front one?

    • @nevlapwood
      @nevlapwood 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      When you get to the point where your board is flexing at the tail, it will want to spring back which is what pops you into the air. If you get on the mountain and try getting flex into the tail of your board, the jumping up part will start to after that. Take this video with you on your phone and give it a go next time you are on snow.

    • @Rekaw97
      @Rekaw97 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@nevlapwoodSo to let board spring back do I put weight back to center or jump just from back leg? I can do ollies but I feel like those are weak ones and I want to know how to get them higher, how to get more pop. (I have snowboard that is very popy as far as I know so it has to be me)
