What always gets lost in these conversations is Daboll’s contributions to the roster construction. They want to throw Schoen under the bus for lousy team building but I guarantee you every one of those moves came with Daboll’s blessing. It has been relentlessly emphasized how these two are in lockstep with each other. Personally I’ve come around (regretfully) to the conclusion that they both need to go but I’d hold Daboll more responsible than Schoen. He’s done a terrible job preparing this team on a weekly basis.

The argument for continuity is that players are used to playing in and fit the system. Give Brandon Brown a shot at this draft and FA class and Daboll 1 last shot to get back to playoffs.

Poor roster construction, questionable drafting, and letting key players walk without compensation have put us in this position. If we’re drafting a rookie QB, wouldn’t it be better to give them a fresh start with a stable, forward-thinking regime instead of one potentially coaching for their jobs? The longer we hold on, the harder it might be to undo the damage.
what's up with people hating John Mara so much? the family has won 4 super bowls and 2 during John Mara's tenure as the president/CEO. His recent records are bad but it's not like his hires were all questionable during the hires.
