- ജനിച്ച നാള്‍ മുതല്‍ സംഗീതം കേട്ടുവളര്‍ന്ന കുട്ടി, വൈദിക പഠനത്തിനായി സെമിനാരിയിലെത്തുന്നു. അവിടെ വെച്ച് ഒരിക്കല്‍ വയലിന്‍ വായിക്കാതിരിക്കാനായി പനിയാണെന്ന് കള്ളം പറയുന്നു, വയലിന്‍ വായിക്കുമെന്ന കള്ളം സത്യമാക്കാനായി പിന്നീട് ആ കുട്ടി വയലിനെ കൂടെ കൂട്ടുന്നു. വയലിന്‍ മാത്രം കൂട്ടുകാരനകുന്നു. വൈദികനാകുന്നതിനേക്കാള്‍ താത്പര്യം വയലിന്‍ വായിക്കുന്നതിലാണെന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞ് സെമിനാരിയില്‍ നിന്ന് പറഞ്ഞയയ്ക്കുന്നു. ആ കുഞ്ഞു വയലിനിസ്റ്റ് വളര്‍ന്ന് ഔസേപ്പച്ചന്‍ എന്ന മലയാളത്തിലെ എക്കാലത്തെയും മികച്ച സംഗീത സംവിധായകനാകുന്നു. ജീവിത വഴിയില്‍ വഴിത്തിരിവായ വ്യക്തികളെയും സംഭവങ്ങളെയും ഓര്‍ത്തെടുക്കുകയാണ് ഔസേപ്പച്ചന്‍.
