I'd love a sequel just because this game was one of the most intense gaming experiences I've ever had. But then again, I don't, because it's just so complete of a story. Thank God you made this playlist of the soundtrack! I just finished this game on Nightmare last night. The stakes were so high on that difficulty that hearing this track was like Frodo realising that the ring was destroyed “It’s gone... It’s done!”
Part of me wants it but the other part doesn’t knowing there’s no way to make the second better and could just ultimately end up failing. Why I would want the sequel is just to know what happened with Amanda, what kinda predicament she would have to deal with, plot etc. but mostly to give Amanda a break and not kill her off or leave her adrift in space. Give the Ripleys a happy ending.

Amanda has had more than her fair share of punishment .. her excursion into the Sevastapol reactor cost her ability to have children for the rest of her life (which ended at 67 years old). Amanda is a great character - but they shouldn't try to milk her for what would obviously be an inferior game. For me - Amanda Ripley means Sevastapol ... let it rest like that.

Mai Nem a game covering the fall of the LV426 colony would be epic and scary as Hell. It could end with the colonial marines arriving with Ripley, since we all know what happens after that.
I first played this game in 2020 and it quickly became my favorite game that year. The developers knew what they were doing. The music, art directions, visuals, sounds and the Alien itself all make you feel like you're in a legit chapter of the Alien timeline. Getting most of the original cast again, especially since a lot have passed on since 2014, was a real treat too.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one to have seen the search-light sweeping over her suit in those last few frames... that cutscene was beautiful either way, but that made it SO much better!

That was 4 years ago and i just all of a sudden began to think about these teenage gaming memories, everything!. The thrill of the fear of: #1 The Xenomorph(s). #2 The Humans. #3 The Apollo AI Working Joes. The joy of: #1 Crafting. #2 The flamethrower #3 The easter eggs. #4 And of course The Music. Beautifully done! I miss those times of escaping reality into a scary, breath-taking, and attention demanding game. Something i will enjoy looking back on, and talking about until the day i die. Hope the rumours are true. Alien Isolation 2.

the point where it makes no sense is when xenomorphs walk around outside ship. even though they don't have respiratory system they must have high blood pressure and also they don't have magnetic shoes like Ripley in space suit in outer space to be attached to ship.
+sri ram I think that maybe Sevastopol/Torrens have some sort of artificial gravity pull even outside. At least I think so, because the xenomorphs are influenced by it. If it were only Ripley it would make sense magnetic shoes on the suit.
TheCocafilho even if we assume Ripley wore magnetic shoes and xenos are strong enough to hold to ship with their claws. At last xenos gather around Ripley and stand on their feet. This is where it is absolutely impossible for them to stick to ship.

One of the best horror games I ever had the pleasure of playing. I just keep coming back to it after all of these years, it's truly something special.
I first played this game in 2020 and it quickly became my favorite game that year. The developers knew what they were doing.
