His new work after MMLP2 may not be sonically and artistically pleasing but the factors which makes a rapper an MC like rhyme schemes still haven't lost their touch

Even back when he was first learning he paid such close attention to all those details and dissecting what he was hearing and reverse engineering it. That’s how you be the best in ANYTHING. Study the greats and don’t let any of it go over your head. I’d argue that’s why Kendrick still shines above most others. He loves the craft and always has.

Im not a rapper but i cant help but study his lyrics either.
I swear nobody will ever touch the mans genious and skill. I listen to his songs every day and every day im catching new double entendres, more references to people, more plays on words in general. Not just that but his flow is crazy. I can rap suicideboys word for word by ear but I CANNOT keep up with em.
    Just wild man

They say Gen Z isn't impressed w M cuz of the wild, crazy, serial killer basically Slim Shady. They haven't even heard M. But someone that learned the craft by studying M u recognize M that way. Like I'm ur fav rappers fav rapper. N that goes both ways. M loves a few rappers but he was asked who is the best out there right now M said Kendrick Lamar wo hesitation. I think he's a genius too but it's hard for me to comprehend gay gangsta rap. I mean it might be on time but I can't ok sin ever. I don't hate the man but the sin. He's a freaking genius

Study his technique but don't study his music. At least 80% of his songs are cringe. Farting, burping, talking about his genitals, tasteless jokes, weird accents. Shit sounds more like South Park than music like Wayne, Biggie, OutKast or even beyond that like Mowtown, Blues, 60s 70s rock & funk, I could go on. Stan & I am , till I collapse, are legit songs though. Also the track Kdot and Em did was wack compared to what he did with Joyner and Jid.
