Dude, thanks for sharing a slice of your thought process. Super helpful! Even though you stress fundamentals also knowing frames on some of the common moves seems to be essential to make it higher than red ranks (which is where I'm at now).
Thank you! I feel like going pretty into depth in frames could make me lose some viewers if they’re not knowledgeable enough in frames. But I agree with you definitely!
As a Jin main myself I don’t see how D2 is actually that crazy, I launch it 95% of the time as I find it so easy to see but might be cos I’m a Jon main myself lol
Also being a Jin player myself, most of the cast can’t launch it. The range is also very deceiving as you can be from range 3 and still get CH on approach. Also 180 degree tracking should not exist on a move.
Great guide!!! I am currently a Steve main and have been since Tekken 6. I am thinking of switching over to Jin as I have such a hard time with Steve due to not many low options and the new stance kinda sucks. Is Jin a good character to switch to?
Absolutely, especially since Steve can be considered more complex since you need to have great timing. Jin has a tool for about any given situation, can be played with different play styles and is a great character to learn in general. Electrics, mid launching mix ups, lows, Scourge, stance pressure, strings, you name it. He teaches you a lot in the long run that can be transferable to other characters!
When the opportunity arises I do! I have yet to start actually coaching sessions but hopefully soon! However I always play any viewer that wants to spar and we can help further your skills together!
Yea. Crazy tell, the guy went -5 after your ws4 and decided to mash against king… who has df2,1 . He could have died right there. I personally just frame trap 24/7 against these players. Especially if i have something like df2,1.
D2 needs nerfs still imo. The tracking is insane and -14 isn’t very punishable except for a select few of the cast. Especially when he has other lows that are great. True that’s it’s reactable but for some reason none of my opponents block it in reaction.
Hey guys! I had audio issues unfortunately post upload. I’ll adjust it accordingly next upload!
You should speak closer to the mic or reduce the games' sound
Yes thank you! I had an issue with the volume post recording. I apologize! Shouldn’t be an issue with the next videos coming up!
Great video. Great advice. Looking forward to future guides. Hwoarang is someone I really struggle against. Looking forward to that video.
I’ve been cooking some Hwoarang videos and got some saved! Stay tuned!

It crazy when people abuse it

Yo ya volume up playboy. Nice work regardless.
Appreciate you! That's definitely fixed now in my recent videos.
That knee that you used to bounce him back up from the floor does it only work with heat charge, to get him up in the air again and chain ur combo?
Could you provide a timestamp? Sorry lol. I’m trying to rewatch the video but not seeing what you’re seeing!
Yo man do you do coaching?

@@noah.slice6265 20+ year king main, love to see more educated king content instead of all the hate

I honestly need to be better at hit confirming df2 1!
Loved watching this as a Jin player :]
Appreciate it! Jin is still super fun in T8!
They don’t have to nerf D2 on Jin. It’s only good at catching mashing players that wiff a lot. It’s every react able, and very punishable on block.

watching to counter your counter haha
