The first rule of feeding your budgie is if you doubt it, don't feed it.
You can always check on the internet (safe and reliable sites of course) - like so, "Is my budgie allowed to eat beetroots?" and you'll find safe, reliable answers.

"dairy is not good for your budgie"
It is still ok to give your birds boiled(or otherwise safely cooked) egg, it is healthy but only once every other day(minimum) if not breeding, once/twice a day is good enough if you are breeding budgies. 🙃
shredded cheese and non-dairy milk is ok in smaller amounts, my birds don't like it
my budgies like eating corn & corn silk, is a really nice treat for them 😊
They eat grass and even apple leaves too, make sure they are well washed and are pesticide-free
birds like romaine lettuce more than other types of lettuce
i don't like giving my birds cherry because the cyanide in the cherry pit might spread to some of the fruit
i usually give my birds seeds for 2 meals per day and healthy foods for one meal, sometimes they get pellets but they don't know if it is food or not 😂

First! Though on a more serious note, I have fed my birds tomato and sunflower seeds before. Will they get any sickness in the future? If so, what can I do to prevent it now?
Hey, Tomato is not good in the long run, they will not be sick, but i suggest on not giving it anymore.
About sunflower seeds, they are ok if given in small amounts.

Tomatoes are not so good, so you better not feed them tomatoes next time, but I also agree, sunflower seeds are good, if they are consumed in small amounts.

HELP! I read at some places that parsley is toxic for budgies and somewhere I saw that it is safe. I'm really confused and scared. I've fed my budgies parsley twice (but they seem perfectly healthy). But I need your advice, please?
I read the description and I always make sure. But I thought parsley was obviously safe 😭
My budgies names are “Blueberry” (Cobalt blue mutation) and “Lemon”! (Lightest green-yellow mutation)
Faisa Parveen Ali Parsley can be fed to birds, as long as it is served in limited quantities. Don’t give them too much, maybe just once a week.

Parsley is perfectly fine if given once or twice a week. They love it and it's healthy for them, just with moderation.

I gave my Parakeet little pieces of an apple in their mix of seeds...
They were much smaller than an inch and there was only 3-4 pieces (this is my first time giving apples to them) will this cause any health problems???
I was giving my budgies bread and eggs mixed together but now I know bread is not good......can I give something else that can replace the bread cuz they don't eat egg without bread
Hi Salvador Budgie! I have fed my birds bread before and now I'm worried they might get sick. But I only feed them bread like once in 2 months and I just gave them some about 3 weeks ago, I also feed them sunflower seeds and they really like them, if this causes any infection or sickness can you please tell me how to prevent it. I want my budgies to be healthy 🙂
Hey, about the bread, nothing will happen with your birds and they will not get sick, but as i said in the video, it's better not to give them bread as it's not nutritious.
About the sunflower seeds, all birds absolutely love them, but it's very very fatty and not good even as a treat, nothing will happen if you'll feed them with these once in a while, but I personally won't do that either.

If your budgies food have sunflower seeds it means the food is not intended for budgie OR not a good quality mix

Don't give your birds sunflower seeds every day, it's really bad for them.. they can be overweight and get a fatty liver diseases..

Yes, cockatiels need sunflower seeds but not much. Only 2 seeds are enough for a Cockatiel.
Its ok for very small amounts.

A good BUDGIE seed mix shouldn't contain sunflower seeds.

Sunflower seeds are not healthy and very fatty for every parrot.
I recommend to minimize the amount, and give it to your parrot only once in a while
