Enjoyable and honest review as expected Alex, thank you 👏🏼👏🏼 Looks like yet another brilliant Scandinavian boat. Great fun for relatively little money.
Been waiting for this sea trial, so thankyou 👍 Prefer the higher freeboard here compared to other Baltic bombers... What a great all rounder, and as you say, well priced in the scheme of things. US spec already has a port side window, so that's good, love to see the sunroof when available. 350's make value sense too, especially at resale time... Great boat!
Great to see the port side window has made an appearance. For me, that extra communication channel on a pilothouse boat makes things much easier at close quarters.
I’d really like to hear how this compares head to head in sea keeping vs Axopar 28/37 in some choppier stuff. The design looks great but clearly it is a much beamier hull design, this must have some ride implications
Good point. Perhaps an optional aft cabin sunk into the cockpit deck might have been an idea. Or even just a modest bulkhead and curtain to cordon off the convertible settee. Either way, don't despair! I suspect there may be an even larger Quarken just around the corner...
Day cruiser, overnight stay, but only one bed plus day head with shower. There is also have a seatee that can be made into a smaller bed for a child. But for a couple and two children that could be tricky. Unless you use the table/ benchs in the pilot house for another bed space. She is practically designed, with safety and comfort in mind. A day head with shower. Like her, she'd make a good 1st boat, a day cruiser with the ability for people to stay overnight. Like her.
Nimbus T11 may be quality but horrible design. Doesn’t do anything right on the upper deck. No neck/ head support in the aft convertible sun lounger. No proper factory made aft shade or bow shade. Bow lounge lacks ratcheting back/ neck support. Seat in front of that lounge is ridiculous and not for humans. Nimbus T11 is a missed opportunity. Lots of bow rise.
Imagine going 52 knots while comfortably insulated in this beautiful cabin in freezing waters in the winter time! So awesome!
Brilliantly practical review. You always point out areas that can be improved, without being unnecessarily critical. Great job (and lovely boat)
A gem of a boat. Thank you, Alex.

The Quarken's tend to be faster top end for a given power output, and a drier ride through the rough stuff
I'd add a microwave I think, with Lithium batteries. God bless diesel heaters. A radar for Channel Island runs too.
I love Yamaha engines
Really wish they had found a way to create a small second cabin for the children.

Do they make a sterndrive diesel tender version?

I really trust the british when it comes to boats
And the British trust the Finns.
@@darthkek1953 That we do!
For this price, an additional 15k in aftermarket bits and upgrades and this is perfect.
Still underpriced!
Yes specially when welcraft is1.2M 😂
Similar to but not as refined as a Nimbus or Axopar....
Definitely more refined than an Axopar!
