Yeah more vekoma boomerangs should get vest restraints, though I also really like the trains by SunKid which are sometimes placed on old vekoma's. An example of a boomerang having this trains is EqWalizer in Walibi Rhones Alpes and it has lap bars making it pretty smooth

They still play Thrill ride in the station (don't get me wrong, I really like it too), which is a good way to satisfy everyone. I really love the unusual and fun ambience of Walibi Holland. They have a very solid and diverse range of coasters. I really recommend bright nights, it's so beautifully lit, and the light shows on the coast are mind-blowing. ❤❤❤
Have been riding this one for over 15 years. What I love about it nowadays is that every time the train passes the inversions and stairs move like crazy. It also has a really short waiting line. Its a nice coaster for what it is..... but the vehicles are awful to sit in. Its a "old" coaster but new trains will be a very big upgrade. To be honest I just guess it will be teared down. After the El Condor of course xD. Awesome moment that go missing as time passes. Nothing stays the same. It might sound depressing but embracing it is key!
That does look like a lot of fun with the music and tunnel honestly. I’ve ridden Flashback at Six Flags New England and it was a bit rough but nice overall

Speed of Sound is a fantastic boomerang, but it actually happens to be my second favorite (that I've ridden). My favorite is the boomerang at Prater Park in Vienna, Austria. That boomerang actually runs with lap bars and has a tunnel around part of the loop! It's almost never talked about, and I almost skipped out on it until I saw the lap bars.
Walibi Holland looks great! They have a phenomenal RMC, an amazing Intamin Mega Coaster, a weird Mack Big Dipper and the best Vekoma Boomerang in the world 😂😂 All they really need now is one of those new Intamins that feature wave turns and other RMC elements and then a B&M Invert, and finally a GCI or other woodie and it would have one of the best collections of coasters in the world.
You can be, it's really good. You have really cool parks in the Netherlands, and very thrilling rollercoasters. (Been to Toverland, Efteling and Walibi Holland twice, and would definitely go again!)❤️❤️❤️ I'm a fan!
Ok I know this is an old video but I must say Generator at Walibi Rhone Alpes is my current favourite boomerang and way better than speed of sound, the lap bar only trains makes a huge difference and turns this an elite coaster imo

Its probably because they got Exclusive Ride Time, they wanted to do Lost Gravity in that time but that had problems so they did Drako and apparently this in that time instead (see Coaster Bots/Silvarrets vlog)
The one at Australias Movieworld is incredibly smooth for an SLC and it has the different restraints which eliminate headbanging. Plus it is themed to Arkham Asylum and all the ride ops wear orange jumpsuits and the optional VR is really good and in sync. I personally think its the best SLC out there
There are also other SLCs that are pretty darn smooth like Great Nor Easter, Odyssey and Kumali, and even some of the non-new restraint ones are pretty good
The restraints make the roughness much more bearable, though But yeah it isnt the worst, not the smoothest, but definitely better then the headache machine on the other side of the park.
It's an amazing boomerang, for sure. But they maintain the effects pretty poorly. Last summer, the music wasn't playing (this wasn't a one-ride issue either, the music didn't return all day). And in this video, the light effects in the "tunnel" seen to off. It's a shane, really, because with both these effects working, it's waaaay better.
I've spoken with the owner of the park, she (Macha) said that in the future, the trains will be replaced for better ride experience. + more but she didn't say more about that or when, but they are looking into it. And keep in mind, El Condor (Condor in 2019) was and still is the first SLC coaster ever build by vekoma. So it's still their prototype.
Can you like stop saying that Vekoma should go bankrupt on EVERY video that contains the word Vekoma only because they "killed" Arrow (which they didnt, they failed to adapt, Vekoma wasnt even in the same market as them, B&M was in the same market of big thrill rides like Arrow and they killed them)? god damn its so annoying
