It's fear. If you start young, it feels natural. Same thing with gymnastics. The older people get the more realistic they become about their own mortality and this creates more fear.

I was ok with riding until one of the other mums at my daughter's school who was also a rider had a bad fall and was paralysed. Then I had my son who is disabled and will always rely on me and suddenly I couldn't take the same risks any more. I still love it and couldn't give it up but I'm a happy hacker nowadays. I really admire people like Zara Tindall who can still compete at top level after having children, although to be fair she does have the advantage of knowing her children will never end up in care!

The neckline of Tessa Virtue's is feathered and so is the choker bit, plus it's not as sparkly as the one Kaya Scodelario is wearing. And the cut of the hem/bottom of the dress is completely different, and there's a cut in the side of Virtue's dress that isn't on Scodelario's.

season two !!! there are so many people who want a season two and the people who read books about ice skating, romance, mental disorders, self harm, and so much more would love this show especially as someone who reads and watches all of those categories. This show is what I read on a daily basis and is something that will for sure not get out of my head for days. This is a show I would recommend to someone if they wanted a realistic show that talks about problems that occur in everyone’s daily lives. It deserves a chance for proper promotion and given the chance to have a big fandom.

This show has been one of my favorite Netflix series of all time. I am constantly watching different Netflix shows, but none of them can compare to this one. This kept me on my toes, and it shows real-life struggles that many people go through and how Kat deals with it. The cliffhanger was not cool if you knew you were going to cancel it immediately.

This is one of the best series I've ever watched. Amazing plot, easy to watch but it depicts mental illness so realistically, it shows the raw reality. The self distraction, the difficulty of keeping up with your meds, the disfunctioning mother-daughter relationship, the siblings relationship, how it actually is, the on and off. I changed like 10 times my opinion of each character. This a very real depiction of competitive sports, of family and friends relationships, I LOVED IT. Please people watch it, I need a season 2!!!!

sessions in figure skating shows: empty, dark, dramatic, Scarey TM, only you on the ice skating your heart out sessions in real life: beginner spinning in the lutz corner, ice dancers who just HAVE to do it with music every five minutes, girl who practices the same single jump for two months and still hasn't landed it, synchro skaters by the boards chatting, one loud yelling coach, that person trying to do their moves in the field test, you playing Human Dodgeball

Both showrunners were former figure skater so they experienced a lot of this and depicted a lot of the scene quite realistically imo
Please watch it it's amazing. The way they approach mental illness, the life of a skater or anybody who's practicing a sport and has come to a breaking point, family, love and other everyday issues. I really think netflix has outdone itself with spinning out. Maybe I'm exaggerating but i truly enjoyed it and it's been a while since i liked a show this much.
I love how the girl who supposedly had trauma about falling goes into pairs. I guess she doesn't mind getting yeeted across the ice and thrown in the air.
I imagine it's probably less scary for her because someone is there w her. Idrk how trauma works, but after my first car accident I felt infinitely better once somebody was there to help me. Not the same situation, but just from experience.
Please consider a season 2 Netflix this show was addressing so many important issues around mental health, race and more. It's unlike many of the seemingly mindless shows that you continue to support. Spinning Out is a moral investment and would make your company look more ethical and like you actually care about your consumers beyond statistics and profit.

Everything about this trailer is WRONG. I remember watching this exact video a year ago and thinking: "I'm not not even gonna watch the first episode cause I'm not into skating". Well, I just watched the first season and I was very surprised to see that this show has a much deeper message (mental health, racism, sexual abuse, to name a few) and it's the definitely one of the best things that Netflix has invested in in years. It's such a shame that they didn't know how to unleash all its potential and renew it for a second season... It could have been the show of the decade, I'm telling you.

@@bs7009 It's not quite the same dress. I do feel like it's definitely supposed to be evocative or inspired by that dress, but it's not the same. The neckline of Tessa Virtue's is feathered and so is the choker bit, plus it's not as sparkly as the one Kaya Scodelario is wearing. And the cut of the hem/bottom of the dress is completely different, and there's a cut in the side of Virtue's dress that isn't on Scodelario's.

season two !!! there are so many people who want a season two and the people who read books about ice skating, romance, mental disorders, self harm, and so much more would love this show especially as someone who reads and watches all of those categories. This show is what I read on a daily basis and is something that will for sure not get out of my head for days. This is a show I would recommend to someone if they wanted a realistic show that talks about problems that occur in everyone’s daily lives. It deserves a chance for proper promotion and given the chance to have a big fandom.

This show has been one of my favorite Netflix series of all time. I am constantly watching different Netflix shows, but none of them can compare to this one. This kept me on my toes, and it shows real-life struggles that many people go through and how Kat deals with it. The cliffhanger was not cool if you knew you were going to cancel it immediately.

Why did this show got canceled? I mean I get that it's not that popular yet but this is only the first season so it's highly understandable that it's not as good as other shows because it's new and it only came out in january. As a person who doesn't watch Netflix anymore, I liked the concept of this show. The storyline was good and the actors were really great. So sad Netflix is only thinking about the views. I mean they are not renewing things like this but bad shows like Riverdale has already 4 seasons and we all know that Riverdale is one of the worst shows ever but they keep renewing it just because it's popular for some reason..

i LOVE spinning out and I really am so pissed that it got cancelled but why do people keep trashing riverdale? netflix doesnt make it, CW does and netflix just puts on the episodes on their service because of the contract with cw. they don't control the acting, writing, or whether it gets renewed or not
It is pretty popular. It has a big fandom over several platforms. Netflix just decided to cancel this without giving it a chance. If this had another season it would have gotten more popular.
This is one of the best series I've ever watched. Amazing plot, easy to watch but it depicts mental illness so realistically, it shows the raw reality. The self distraction, the difficulty of keeping up with your meds, the disfunctioning mother-daughter relationship, the siblings relationship, how it actually is, the on and off. I changed like 10 times my opinion of each character. This a very real depiction of competitive sports, of family and friends relationships, I LOVED IT. Please people watch it, I need a season 2!!!!

Atually the shows did it somewhat realistically with the slightly crowded rink. Both showrunners were former figure skater so they experienced a lot of this and depicted a lot of the scene quite realistically imo

Please watch it it's amazing. The way they approach mental illness, the life of a skater or anybody who's practicing a sport and has come to a breaking point, family, love and other everyday issues. I really think netflix has outdone itself with spinning out. Maybe I'm exaggerating but i truly enjoyed it and it's been a while since i liked a show this much.

Everything about this trailer is WRONG. I remember watching this exact video a year ago and thinking: "I'm not not even gonna watch the first episode cause I'm not into skating". Well, I just watched the first season and I was very surprised to see that this show has a much deeper message (mental health, racism, sexual abuse, to name a few) and it's the definitely one of the best things that Netflix has invested in in years. It's such a shame that they didn't know how to unleash all its potential and renew it for a second season... It could have been the show of the decade, I'm telling you.
