    Tip - grab some bags for your electrically leads and hoses. Especially your lead as winding it up will protect it and make it last longer.
    Also in caravan parks never ever let your dog roam. Always keep him on a lead. It’s good van etiquette 😊

    23.8 seems high, have you had your car and van weighed to make sure you are compliant for insurance and the safety of others on the road .

    you cant use toilet duck in your toilet cassette and then put it in a dump point you will ruin the bacteria in the dump point plus the seals on the cassette

    Last trip we did to Qld 6000km. We avg 21ltr per 100. In our stock 2015 til patrol towing our 20ft 3t van. That was with cruise control on most of the time.
    You've got a bit more going on then we do in regards to boat on roof and towing larger van. Im sure the more you do it the better the fuel will be. Being light footed helps, as she can suck the juice when the foot hits the deck. But sometimes you gotta clean the cobwebs out the exhaust. No point having a v8 if you cant get the grunt at times 😂

    Quick tip,. Don't put toilet duck into toilet cassette, sure fire way to wreck it, seals etc.

  • @adamhuglo111
    @adamhuglo111 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Jerries arn't as necessary, + with a secondary fill point you can suck fuel out for the tinny when needed instead of travelling with the boat tank with fuel in it. GVM will go up but you will loose a lot on Combined Mass. Just an option to consider guys.👍

    Not too bad considering how loaded up. Whilst back in Vicko, you could consider a long range tank being fitted. Will save stress headaches on the long hauls.

    Reading the comments..
    We are all buying caravans. 😂😂😂
    We bought ours..
    We will be heading off in Dec.
    I am off to Greece Crete again end of September for my fathers year passing, and returning back to Melbourne end of November..
    My father died last November and his wish was to be buried in Crete.
    So my Mum, sister and I escorted my fathers casket back to Crete, and laid him to rest in Crete.
    I got back in February 2023, now I’m off again for my fathers year of passing, and to escort my mother back to Melbourne, she wanted to stay back in Crete.
    Very hard time losing my father, grieving in silence.😢
    Luke, sorry to hear about your father, wishing him all the best and a speedy recovery.
    Can’t wait to return back to Melbourne and to take our caravan on Aussie holiday.
    ❤❤❤❤

    Still no towing mirrors.........

    • @thatfalzonfamily
      @thatfalzonfamily  ปีที่แล้ว

      not feeling the need for them at the moment, we have a clear view off the road and the traffic

    • @ozmid40scouple
      @ozmid40scouple ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In Victoria, the infringement is RR 297(2) - Fail to have a clear view of the road and traffic, ahead, behind and to each side of the driver and it will set you back $233. Given the low cost of a good set of towing mirrors, if you avoid just one fine by fitting them they'll have paid for themselves.

    A little tip, if you don’t use your cruise control you will likely get a little better fuel economy, the car will use more fuel while it tries to maintain speed going up hill.
