Alright, 3 region map *and* item rando feat. Shen in a co-op spectacular ;) love the content, great to fall asleep to.(enjoy the content, my brain just finds it soothing enough to sleep to)
It especially feels like a natural co-op run as a time check. i.e. a solo run here is probably going to top out around 6 hours, where I could see co-op knocking it down to 4.5
Im sure it would be very difficult to program due to softlocks but I think it would be cool if hms and badges only worked if you found the corresponding badge/hm for that region. It does seem a little cheesey that it unlocks for all regions if you just find a random hm and its corresponding badge from a different region. Either way its pretty impressive that this is even a thing. Fun watch.
There's already an option to prevent hm equivalent badges being synced between games and the logic only generates seeds compatible with that. It was actually the default at one point but no-one play testing liked it.
I imagine it could be calculated by creating a dependency graph on each item location and following only valid paths, but then again I don't know how this is coded.
