AB - this man does no wrong! He’s so underrated and is FINALLY getting the fame he deserves! His live performance of this at the CMA’s was AMAZING. You should react to him and Reba singing “Dear Rodeo”.
@John Shull isn't just Texans, he isn't new to those who have been listening to true country music, in today's age. Been following him for years and go to his concerts everytime he is close.
CoJo is one of the best country artists out there today, this song shot him to superstardom and fast. This is definitely one of my favorite songs of the year.
This song makes me cry every time when I hear the line (take that phone call from your mama). My mom passed away last year and that gets me every time.
CoJo is a LEGEND!!! He has been around a long time but no one would give him a record deal because he wouldn't agree to their terms. He wanted to play his kind of music his way. Finally his fan base became so massive without a label that a label finally agreed to sign him on his terms. He is definitely a LEGEND.
i was lucky enough to see this man in the Appalachian wireless arena in Pikeville KY, a local transformer blew, no power for about 45 minutes, plugged his tour bus into the speakers, show went on
I can relate. I loved my husband dearly even though he got on drugs. He finally got clean but it cost him. I lost him to cancer 20 years ago. Til I cant......
Highly recommend Rascal Flats "What Hurts the Most" I guarantee you will grab a tissue! "Life is a Highway" and "Easy" are 2 other songs of theirs that I love!
Check his 2022 CMA performance of this song. The intro of the last chorus and the last yeah as song ends. Unbelievable so much passion he puts out in the song.
He's been around a while. He filled in for Old Dominion at the Houston Rodeo because he was local Texas Country. He sold more tickets once it was announced, and after that he blew up. Me and My Kind, Dance Her Home and With You I Am are my faves. But all his are 🔥
One of the best songs of the year and he’s easily in my top five as well sir! GREAT reaction! You’re one of the few that I’ve seen that picked up on the fact that it was the son that died.
Cody Johnson is a hidden gem!!! Love his Music!!!! You should check out Dear Rodeo with Cody Johnson and Reba McEntire. Love the reaction AB….keep up the great work brother.
As a gal raised in rural midwest USA, I feel I had plenty of chances to learn to appreciate country music as a genre and didn't. Not until very recently. It's just so varied and flexible. You got your feel-good side of the spectrum with margarita-ville, chugalug chugalug, some goofy stuff over there, but then there other side is just chalk full of the most deep, heartfelt, make ya cry songs you ever heard. "Broomstick cowboy", I'm looking at you.
Wonderful Rabbit Hole to go down with Cody! Red Dirt Country that took a chance and is making a name for himself staying true to his roots of not POP Country!
AB keep doing your thing boss!! I can tell you are a down right cool and pure soul!! We need more people like you in this world! Keep pushing and doing your thing brother, your gonna make it far!!
This music video, every time I watch it, absolutely wrecks me. I watched it, saw you reacted, clicked your video, and proceeded to cry at this music video twice in a row. XD
This video just made my day. Your reaction to that long note at the end is what I love to see! I've loved CoJo for around 10 years now. I've seen him for $10 bucks in dive bars then got to experience being front row at the sold out opening day for the Houston Rodeo. Only Garth Brooks and George Strait have done the same. Welcome to Red Dirt country. It hits different. Need another goosebump making song? Listen to Reckoning by Whiskey Myers. You're welcome.
The girl in the video (the one on the phone) lost her brother unexpectedly. She got "that phone call" while hanging out with friends. He husband goes up to comfort her and she puts him on the phone because she's too upset to talk. The video shows flashbacks of her brother hanging out with his dad, grandpa and friends, basically the point of the video, do those things til you can't because you never know.
The song is about loosing everyone closest to you and to bother with them, cuz you don't know how long someone has. The mom, dad, grandpa, and son, and the woman died
You need to react to Trace Adkins. Arlington is a great song. Also,You’re Gonna Miss This. In that song, it was recorded in his home town and the man at the end is his dad, Aaron Doyle. Grew up knowing him and his family. Also, Rascal Flatts are a great group too.
I have yet to hear him sing a song I don't fall in love with. And his duet with Reba on Dear Rodeo should be put on repeat in anyone's playlist who says they like country. Check out Diamond in my pocket, another one of his songs that should have shot up to #1.
Also, lots of Kenny Chesney. You need all the Kenny Chesney in your life. Beer in Mexico, The Good Stuff, Come Over, Big Star(which has to be one of the first if not the first Kenny Chesney song you listen to), There Goes My Life, Young, Living In Fast Forward and Out Last Night(which should be the first one you listen to because this one is amazing). I need you to listen to Kenny Chesney ASAP because he is one of my favorites.
Love to see some Aaron Lewis on here, his cover of “what hurts the most” is amazing, whiskey and you, lost and lonely, everybody talks to God, life behind bars, someone, all great songs guy is fire
Sweet Baby Jesus this one hurt, man it hit me hard. In 2017 I lost my Dad to cancer, it was awful, and there is soooo much I wish I would have said and done. In 2020 I lost my baby brother he was only 27, there was a lot of issues and drama going on and we STILL do not know exactly how it happened. My Momma found him on the bathroom floor. This song though, it’s beautifully haunting.🥺
New songs that I found for you to listen to. Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers- I Believe in Santa Claus. It is the season for it! And then John Michael Montgomery - Sold, I Love the Way You Love Me, Be My Baby Tonight, Life's A Dance and How Was I To Know.
@ABtheKreator well done!! With Christmas coming up I would love to see you react to some "for KING & COUNTRY" they have a great Christmas album especially the song "Little Drummer Boy" / Live from Phoenix version is fantastic. They also have a song with Dolly Parton....
I’ve seen this video a lot and just realized their son was the only one not at the table eating near the end of the video. Then his mom gets the dreaded call. The kid dies! No no no no 😢
I'm thinking this country music. Probably no, that's a d*** flavor it. It'll get the paper better better state of mind a little compassion. Well understand why don't they know confusion? I should not be tired of it is without music. Mike, and it worse when I'm some clarity in these days. Some country music. It's like mountain top iron brother.
I don't know what happened to the brother young Christian? Yeah, yeah, Hey, how to watch I gotta go in on backing. A diamond prof Hill poop bowl me. Zaire bomb me's gone Bang bang. But I hate out of a brown some good music man. I want to buy and bought anything he hates. Showings is got very pretty good. All right? Christians, the brother Chris Yup a man I wanna buy.
AB - this man does no wrong! He’s so underrated and is FINALLY getting the fame he deserves! His live performance of this at the CMA’s was AMAZING. You should react to him and Reba singing “Dear Rodeo”.
Third this !!!
Please
Cody is one of the very few new country artists that are actually making real country music!
He isn’t new to Texans.
@John Shull isn't just Texans, he isn't new to those who have been listening to true country music, in today's age. Been following him for years and go to his concerts everytime he is close.
You must not listen to a lot of different artists then.
CoJo is one of the best country artists out there today, this song shot him to superstardom and fast. This is definitely one of my favorite songs of the year.
This song makes me cry every time when I hear the line (take that phone call from your mama). My mom passed away last year and that gets me every time.

Every line of this song hits me hard. Every friggin line. I'm so glad you chose this to listen to! CoJo has so many great songs, give em all a listen!
He really is a legend. He’s bring Country back to Country Music
i was lucky enough to see this man in the Appalachian wireless arena in Pikeville KY, a local transformer blew, no power for about 45 minutes, plugged his tour bus into the speakers, show went on
I can relate. I loved my husband dearly even though he got on drugs. He finally got clean but it cost him. I lost him to cancer 20 years ago. Til I cant......
See this man live if you can! His concerts are the best I've been to. A real party
I’ve seen him twice in concert… he’s just amazing. I would suggest any of his songs… Human, Dear Rodeo, With You I Am, Dance Her Home etc
Thank you for your reaction! As a 60 year old woman, it really pulls at my heart.
He's also a real rodeo cowboy. Living the life.
Cody Johnson is definitely a new legend. He's going to go far.

Cody Johnson is a future Legend, this eras George Strait and like King George never makes a bad song.
Cody Johnson is a hidden gem!!! Love his Music!!!! You should check out Dear Rodeo with Cody Johnson and Reba McEntire. Love the reaction AB….keep up the great work brother.
