- If you are thinking about purchasing some support gear of a motorcycle club, it's probably best that you are actually known to the club, and that you buy said gear directly from the club, or from their website. Respect goes a long way with you, me, and them. A lack of respect also goes a long way...

Likes been said, pay ya bucks at club house or event, common sense, should just tell u t shirts or hoodys should just say support your local 81, or support your local 88 ( N.Z mc) or your local green & gold. Anything else, hang around with a club u respect & may b u will b asked 2 prospect & if your made of the right stuff you will get colours 2 wear with pride & no fucker gonna take em off ya.

I talked to a friend, who was a regional P in a 1% club. He said that when they sic the lawyers on them, they disappear and the website selling them vanishes. His club dealt with it street level, taking them by force if needed.
If you buy one of these shirts, even the ones without images reserved for MC members, people are going to ask where you got it. Greg mentioned this, but you really want a support shirt that you can actually wear outside your home, it would probably be best to take the time to acquaint yourself with a member of the club you want to support and inquire as you how you can pick one up. Do this and your shirt will have a cool story to go with it, and you may make some new friends in the process. Anything else could hurt your reputation, or worse, earn you a "poser" label (which may as well be tattooed on your forehead). Respect given is respect earned.
I've been seeing this type of thing a lot lately, with various clubs.. I'm blown away.. I hope nobody is that dumb, and I'm not sure how selling this sort of merchandise is accepted.. BTW Thank you for putting this up, I hope folks who are learning protocol are listening.

Yep on on the Outlaw shirt, i wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. having the Charlie on it would be begging for an ass kicking. and on the BLS patch set Zakk himself has asked fans of the band not to wear them when riding and if someone asks them to take the vest off to do it

Toads_Ride that's a fact one of my brothers that's in a well known world wide club gave me same advice.. I was in another club's town at a program and when he found out he said the same to me.. but how I see it the east coast clubs are more about the money than territories.. And the west coast seem to be all about the territories.. but that's my opinion and I really can't talk on club business seeing I'm not in one.. I will say most of the 1% I have met or have done time with are some of the most loyal and caring people around me.. till you cross or piss them off

i actually looked on Ebay and Amazon and saw so much "support" club t shirts, patches, and even club patches only made for the respectable patchholder.

You gotta remember that if you wear a legitimate support shirt for a local MC, and happen to come across a member of a club that is an enemy of the club you are wearing a support shirt for, they are probably not going to like it.
You can go on wish and you can even buy patch sets from almost any club.
In Indiana we got HAMC OMC SOSMC and for a minute had MongolsMC. Also the support your Outlaws MC I got a shirt my old lady had cause her family is associated with em and it's god Charlie on it and says support

Unless you are wearing the gear and end up encountering a member or worse yet members of the HA's many rival clubs. Reverse is also true, I don't think walking up to a group of HA members wearing Mongol or Outlaw support gear would be too smart either.

The only time i buy support shirts is from the actual members at events i would never buy on line you dont know the money is going to the true mc
The big downside to wearing that gear around town is that you run the risk of encountering rival club members, and you'll instantly be put on the cops radar as being a member or supporter and you will be harassed by them. I'd recommend wearing them at club sanctioned events only, and leave them at home the rest of the time.

Honestly im really really shocked how many fake support merch there is and how the seller only cares about money and I feel sorry for those who buy it and not knowing about the lifestyle and think it looks cool and buys it or their parents or partner buy it for their loved ones it’s honestly disgusting that these shops exist so thank you for making this video sorry I’m late to it though

I got my shirts from my son (not a fully patched member) but from a national run, don't where them much, but when I did I got profiled by the jacks. Be careful it's a jungle out there. SYL
There is absolutely nothing legit about that shirt, it isn't from the club - PERIOD, no MC worth their salt would allow a supporter to wear the clubs actual name. If you try wearing a support shirt like that in the UK with rockers on it, lets just say there will be one shirt less in your collection. If people buy these fakes they are NOT showing support for the club, they are in-fact doing them a great dishonour which will be returned in kind. Don't buy this crap or wear it, my advise is that of a 28 year patch-holder 2nd generation.

If you're out wearing hookey support gear and someone in the clubs see it, they'll not be happy and will insist that you remove it. If you want to wear support gear for a club then buy it direct from the club that way you can be sure that its genuine support merchandise rather than something made up by some ebay hack who's only interest in the club is to line his pocket using their name.

I live maybe a mile from the Outlaws mother chapter on the south side of Chicago. You would not catch me in a dream wearing some bootleg Outlaws shirt. They have a website where you can buy direct from A.O.A. Those shirts and mini sylo patches are OK. Anything not bought from them, nope.

In other words, I'll wear what I want. I'll do what I want, when I want to do it. 1%ers need permission, 3%ers don't.
So I thought if you had a patch but it didn't have MC underneath it it wasn't a big deal because you were not saying you were in a club. Myself, if I were to wear a shirt from a club I would make sure I got it from the club not on the internet . Thats just me.

Unless you are in said club you wouldn't be able purchase said t-shirt to begin with..
So you would have a non-event in most cases..
though unless you are associated to the club either as a member or as a family member you shouldn't be in the club colours to begin with...

I have a friend , called him my Uncle- they found him interstate 95 back in the mid 70s rival club put a round in his chest . He was sitting on the side of the road , bike still running when they found him . They just pulled up BAM !! and drove off . Thing was , they don't know what club done it . They know he was wearing his colors , and they know East Coast Clubs were not getting along back then . That's as real as it gets . Everybody knows if you put that patch on, you know the risk , and you're willing to take it. a 14 year old buying a death head from the local candy store thinks it's a game. Recently met a dude on a big Sushi Davidson, wearing an official" Bandidos Hangaround " shirt. At the local Harley Stealership...he walked right up and introduced himself as such...Duh-uh I am a Official Bandidos hang-around....I am not makin' this up. People; really!??? What are we coming to? If you really want to support them, you'd buy from an authorized dealer, otherwise it's like buying bootleg music or clothes from a swap meet.
Also be mindful of WHERE you wear it, real or not.
Some clubs don't see eye to eye.
You don't want to be in the wrong part of town where the rivals to the club you are "supporting" (by buying bootleg merch) lives there.

I own support merchandise donated to me by a former president of a local chapter of a well known UK MC club,
No top or bottom rockers ,no club name ,just a hint of the club involved and in the clubs official colour scheme and definitely no 1% diamonds on it -only buy directly from the club or an official member and be careful where you wear it ,don’t disrespect another MC club if your on their turf ,as both clubs won’t be nice to you for causing unnecessary tensions between them ,just saying

Even if you bought official support gear of the Bandidos or Outlaws, you probably would be very disrespected if you wear it in Canada. The same can be said if you wore official H.A. support gear in TX.
The Outlaws MC now have about 15 chapters in Canada. I don’t see why you would be disrespected wearing a support shirt. They are spreading into Canada like a wildfire.
