I'd love to see completely new combo braker system where it's starts like breakaway and if you hit them with an attack that doesn't break armor it does the mkx combo breaker but if the attack does break armor then it works like how you break armor in mk 11

I dont mind if we get a standing breakaway system this time.. I only want it to have it's own bar like in MK11 so you dont have to waste offense just to be defensive.

Yeah in theory I think this system is actually fair. It doesn’t punish people as much for finally getting a hit in. And it puts the person that broke away in a vulnerable position. It can also l back fire with armour breaks similar to the clash system in injustice games.

Hey Waz ! I was wondering if you were planning to try Street Fighter 6 ?
I'm a big MK fan, playing all games intensively since MK 9 (might have around 3k hours with 9, X and 11 combined) but several of my colleagues were playing Street Fighter 6 Demo at work. MK was the only fighting game I ever played, but they taught me the game and now i've been grinding the SF 6 demo for 75 hours training against very hard CPU, also tried open beta 2 two week ends ago. Can't wait for the game to come out ^^
The game is full of interresting mecanics ! Looking forward for MK 1 for sure, but SF 6 will definitely be the first SF game I'll get into :)
I'm definitely gonna try it, I already played the beta and I played thousands of hours of Street Fighter V too!

I like the breakaway system because the opponent can predict it and counter it. However, some characters are cursed with a really bad armor break. They just need to do a better job balancing it.

I once saw a game that mixed breakaway and combo breaker. you could break at any point in a combo, it allows you to still escape from a combo, etc. but it was a system where when you "break" it forces your character to stay still instead of the traditional falling, right? well, once you hit the person then your character will be flung back like combo breaker but if you predict they are going to "break" and dont hit them once they get into that still/break animation, you can continue your combo like nothing happened because you wont be pushed back and you can punish their predictable breaks.
