The sad part is none of these youtube videos fully capture how awesome an intake sounds when you first drive it. Super loud, i love it. I wish my wife was that excited to "make the noise" as i call it.

no, most cvt civics dont even come w the 1.5t but if they did, its one continuous gear so you wont hear the shifts and such and when it shifts is when you can fully hear the spool

you won’t get the same sound cause the 2.0 11th gen’s don’t come with a turbo

The touring does. The sport is realistically just a mid range spec it’s not very sporty besides the tires

sounds way different it’s a loud throaty noise with the 2L I have a high volume intake from PRL and suggest it though
@mason6178 on the 2.0 when you first step on the pedal, it kinda sounds like a turbo but for a fraction of a second. After, it just sounds mean and throaty, love the intake noise on the 2.0

@FL5life in that mods, the warranty won't void, because it didn't touch the electric factory, if you flash or rechip ecu then the warranty gone, here's are some mods not voiding warranty,

Intake
Camber
Coilover
Upgrade that void warranty are
Ecu rechip/flash
Upgrade turbo

BOVs will apparently fuck with the engine big time, don’t remember exactly what, but it’s straight up real bad for the engine.

If it causes the damage you’re trying to claim under warranty, yes. So.. they’d fight you tooth and nail to say any engine related issue is because of the intake. Any other unrelated issues would be covered.

Not necessarily, just wanted sound and wasn’t worried about the “performance” aspect, also my accord has a red intake so it’s cool they match 😂

I have the 11th Gen non turbocharged. You think I’m able to add a turbo to mine pretty easy? Or would that be really expensive?
What’s your definition of expensive? And adding pretty much any turbo to the 2.0L would essentially turn it into the type R engine, which could NEVER be handled by the stock CVT trans. That thing will be sent to heaven above 260hp

No, there aren’t any issues like that. Installed it on my car and drove through a horrible storm for about 2 hours the same day, no issues. It’s in the engine bay, and if your engine bay is getting wet… you have big issues.

You're not really breaking the warranty. Just keep what you have and if you have to go to the dealership, put the old one back in.

Yes I’m afraid it does void it . I would just swap it back when you take it tho to the dealership . Only autozones intakes won’t void it
Maybe. Its a maybe, because if the part lead to damage then the damage wouldn’t be covered. I saw an aftermarket taillight installed that wasn’t sealed correctly, moisture got into the electrical system and the driver could no longer brake and none of this was covered, does that make sense?
