    Hey i Just bought these and there's not alot of info on how to change the telemetry on each gauge so its different data. As of now i have water temp displayed across all 3 gauges and unsure how to change it. They seems to be linked data together.

    It seems like these fake Greddy's and the fake Defi's are exactly the same and only their design changes.

    • @Solo_Cheku

      Yes they are the same with different “stickers”.

    • @Fine_Performance
      @Fine_Performance หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Theyre nothing like the real GREDDY meters 😆. For starters, the GREDDY system is a sirius analog needle guage & Vision lcd acetate digital guage on top, creating the "sirius Unify" guage. These are just adigital guage that looks like a TRUST guage to anyone thats hasnt actually seen the proper thing.

    • @dsx5036
      @dsx5036 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Fine_Performance I ended up going for the Defi RS, a gauge that has no fake version, simply because the Greddy looks super modern and would look kinda out of place in my car (Zzw30). Maybe one day I'll get one of these Greddy ones for a different car. The holographic look is super cool.

      Temperature wise I think they are close to my hks mechanical gauge readings. Pressure wise I think it is a bit higher.
      It’s all about the sensors. If you really want you can use your own brand sensors with these gauges. Just connect the 2 wires.

    • @Solo_Cheku
      @Solo_Cheku  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't. You can just go to aliexpress, search for car gauge, sort by order number (completed purchases), and find the one with reasonable price. TBH I think they are all the same, only difference is some vendors have combos.

    honestly these look amazing, even more when you see the 3 pack costs less than the price of 1 aem gauge, for sure the aem and such are the real deal but the prices are way too crazy imho.
    whats the default color when starting the car tho ?

      Hey, can you confirm it's 1/8 BSPT female to 1/8 NPT male you had to use ? So i guess 2 x for 2 sensors on the sandwich plate ?
      🙏

    • @Solo_Cheku
      @Solo_Cheku  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@2Drezik I ordered three sensors: two temperature sensors (one for oil, one for water) and one pressure sensor (for oil). The two temperature sensors were fine since they had 1/8 BSPT threads; they went into the radiator and oil sandwich plate directly.
      The pressure sensor was 1/8 NPT and the issues I needed to solve were:
      1. NPT male on the sensor to BSPT female on the oil sandwich plate.
      2. There wasn't enough space between the oil sandwich plate and the alternator for the sensor (with the straight adaptor it was way too long) to be installed.
      So in the end I just used a 90 degrees NPT to BSPT adaptor.
      To illustrate:
      Original Orientation:
      Alternator Old Small sensor -----> Oil Plate
      So, I used a 90 degrees elbow fitting to change the orientation of the sensor:
      Alternator 90 elbow NPT to BSPT Adaptor-------| Oil plate
      |
      S
      e
      n
      s
      o
      r
      This gave me enough room to install the new, bigger pressure sensor.
      To sum up.
      1. Use a calliper to find out the thread type. These sensors are generic, so they might differ when you order them.
      2. Use the necessary adaptor to connect the sensors to the ports correctly.
      3. Use angled fitting (adaptor) to change orientation in case of limited space for the bigger modern sensors on old engines or engine bays.

    • @Solo_Cheku
      @Solo_Cheku  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They are still working fine without issue. I don't have an effective way to compare these with the authentic gauges, since I don't have the authentic ones. But they are not too far off based on my experience with the car. If your car has OBD2 the unit reads off your ECU so there will be no difference. My car's stock ECU doesn't have an OBD2 port so they read off the sensors as shown. So it's more about the sensors than the gauges I think.

    How do you set the gauges to show different gauges in daisy chain. All mine show the same, like Water temp on all three. But I want what you have water temp, oil temp, oil pressure. When I go to set and then press the down & up it controls all three at same time. Any help I would love :) You figured it out it seems!

    • @Solo_Cheku
      @Solo_Cheku  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You need to connect one to the first port at a time. Set it up with controller. Then unplug, do the next one. Once you set up all the gauges one by one then daisy chain them. Instruction shows how.

    How to control the colors and all if you just get an afr gauge

    • @Solo_Cheku
      @Solo_Cheku  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Use the control unit to set colours and display type. The AFR has to be connected to the control unit, so from the AFR sensor to the control unit, then to the gauge. The gauges are multipurpose, and you can set what they display through the control unit. If you have OBD2, the control unit can be connected to the OBD2 port and grabs data from your ecu and sensors.
