Man, I made the mistake of staying up way too late to watch this, but it was worth it. This segment was a great way to end out the night and I finally got to watch a Banjo-Kazooie 100% speedrun which I've wanted to do for awhile. Along with the great speedrun, all the stories recounted with Jirard were all interesting and honestly very touching. I barely knew anything about Jirard, but I got to say, I have gained respect for not ever watching him before. I was already perplexed by his generosity but hearing what he went through and his experiences with Jon have made me a fan alone. This was a great segment and well worth staying up for even if it killed my sleep. Great job Jules, Jirard, and Jack, as well as Jon when he was here at the beginning. The Quadruple Js. Great Day 2 and Great segment.

I didn't get to see this segment live, but I LOVED this segment and would love to see more of it in the future. I loved that the incentives were just cool stories and didn't mess with the gameplay, which was fun to watch because Jules was constantly showing little tricks and strats. This segment was super chill and managed to be entertaining without gimmicks, and I'd love to see more segments like this where it's just chill time. The same thing kinda goes for Tim's Tetris segments since it's always hype when it clicks and he just starts doing really well. Glad to see all the love in the comments for this segment too!

That whole story Jirard had about the mario maker championship should serve to him and everyone else as a cautionary tale against Twitter. Twitter is an absolute cesspool of negativity, while Twitch Chat can be one of the most wholesome places on the site, provided the streamer being watched doesn't have like 30 thousand active viewers, because then...well, it's back to Twitter.
I guess, but the point is that Twitter is particularly negative for everyone involved while you can have a large but positive, non-spamming, smart, amicable large group in a Twitch chat.
bro, I was sort of listening to parts of the chaos fortune cookie before this when it was live but when they got to the speedrun I knew I couldn't make it anymore and I had to get to sleep. I'm so glad I still got to see it and hear so many great stories from Jirard and about Kirkhope. And it really sucks that Jirard was put in all of those situations at bestbuy. I couldn't work in a retail place where I had to upsell crap to people who didn't want it

The 100% speed run doesn’t include those upgrades or the Cheato upgrades. Jules can get them if he wants but they’re not mandatory and often doesn’t save him much time.
