Finally -- a simple, organized, short, PERFECT tutorial! Thank you so much! It could not be clearer and/or have the information better organized. I'm an advanced piano player but this song had me feeling like a beginner and your tutorial is great for players at any level.
Ive been making beats for about a year and a half this is the first time I always watched piano lessons and couldn't grasp the concept of how the mind works around the keys in order to transition thru notes and remember where they are.. I paid attention to this video and ive been on the piano for about 2 hours and I went from confused about everythingoop from the transitions, finding the notes , hand placement, without watching the video.. and consistency in the number of reps I can do of this loop..now im breezing thru this to a point where I didn't even know I was capable of it I used to watch tutorials on piano playing music theory, etc but i could never translate it into my understanding of how the musicians mind function around the piano now i can identify my keyz without having to name them beause i see my leading finger on the left dictates the highest amount of attention secondly would be the second finger after that everything else is just falling in line I TRUELY APPRECIATE U PUTTING THIS VIDEO UP This Did A lot for me on a lot of levels especially confidence in learning more !!!!!!
Just found your youtube channel, you are without a doubt one of the best teachers out there, thank you so much for taking your time to bring us these amazing tutorials
Great teaching style and love the step by step that’s easy to follow for those who don’t know the keys yet and then pull it together so beautifully! Thank you!
used this to verify what I had by ear. helpful, but you obviously do not understand enharmonic note names, which will lead to confusion for a lot of people. But hey, if you’re looking for a quick and fake way to learn then I guess this is suitable
and so it doesn’t seem like i’m trying to be negative .. here’s some help for those who are new. this is in the key of C# minor. the progression is a C#m7 add 9 - F#m7 add 9 - G#m7. the second part moves from A Major7 to G#m7. therefore ... i-iv-v ; VI-v
wow you have a great voice dude. just watched to see the chords and your voice came out of left field awesome.
