MODI Government Plans 15 New 4 Lane HIGHWAYS & EXPRESSWAYS In Bihar | Bharatmala Pariyojana | Smart City Guide | Highway Projects in Bihar | Highway Projects in India | Expressway Projects in Bihar | Expressways in India | Nitin Gadkari | National Highways Authority of India | NHAI
Road Construction Minister Nitin Naveen has said that on the instructions of the Chief Minister, a recommendation to include the proposal for the construction of seven new roads in Bharatmala-2 will be sent to the Central Government. As soon as the approval of the Center is received, the process of land acquisition will be started. The total length of these seven roads will be around 1530 km. The initial estimate of their construction is about ₹56,700 Crores.
PATNA-KOLKATA EXPRESSWAY is proposed by Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar and the proposal sent to central government for construction of this Expressway. Patna-Kolkata Expressway will be four lane controlled access Expressway. The total length of this Expressway would be around 470 km and the construction cost expected to be around ₹17,900 crores.

@DJ Raj Roy If majority of the people chose TMC government, they thought that is the right alternative for Bengal at the moment. Who am I to judge? I was outside the country that time and couldn’t vote. So I go with people’s verdict in the rule of Democracy. Hope things would change for better, otherwise another new government next time.

No doubt the present NDA govt is doing outstanding development first time post independence history by any govt. There is need to concentrate more on high speed bullet trains. Varanasi to patna bullet train needs to be given high priority.
Bullet trains are incredibly costly. Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Surat, Vadodara corridor is perhaps the richest in the country in terms of GDP per capita. Any investment in infra in this region has very high ROI forecasts. That is why this was the first corridor chosen for the pilot project of bullet train. Then further projects will be constructed with the windfall revenue from this project. Even then, next projects will also be between metro cities like Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad because they are closer and have massive economies themselves. Tier-II cities will get the bullet train only by 2040 at the earliest. But the Agra, Varanasi, Patna corridor might see semi-high speed rail like the vande bharat far earlier. Just that bullet trains between these cities specifically are not financially feasible in the current scenario.

I appreciate Gadkari for his aggressive infra projects in India but there are many long pending road projects in Bihar which he needs to focus upon.
NH-19 Hajipur-Chhapra four lane
NH-922 Patna-Buxar four lane
NH-83 Patna-Dobhi four lane
NH-31 Bakhtiarpur-Rajauli four lane
NH-19 has been pending since 2009. Work on NH-922, NH-83 and Nh-31 is progressing very slowly. First. Gadkari to ensure timely completion of projects else new projects are meaningless if it takes 10-15 years to complete.

I think you've missed one major four lane highway i.e Munger - Mirzachowki (Bhagalpur) in ur video which is already approved and land acquisition process is on.
It's approved for long...but construction is pending for more than 5 years....it's worst NH in india I think....
Bihar needs boost in 5 things
1. Infrastructure
2. IT industries
3. Heavy industries
4. Textile, green hydrogen, ethanol
5. Electronics industries
If these sector gets boost no one will be able to stop Bihar.
ethanol plant is much needed in up, bihar, west bengal and madhya pradesh to achived E20 in flex fuel engine but government are not taking this seriously
Patna - Kashi expressway should have been constructed in place of Buxar - Kashi 😔😔 .. Really disappointed 😔😔.. And in place of Patna - Kolkata expressway , Patna - Lucknow or Patna - Kanpur expressway should have been constructed and again I m disappointed here 😔😔

There is no point of connecting Patna with Lucknow or Kanpur
And moreover Lucknow can be connected to Patna via Purvanchal Expressway & Buxar-Patna 4 Lane Highway & new Expressway from Buxar to Bhagalpur is also planned

What is the difference bet Patna-kolkata & Raxaul -Haldia? Aint they overlapping?
Yes they will intersect near Durgapur. But the purpose of both expressways are different. Kolkata Patna Expressway will enhance connectivity between Kolkata to Delhi.
@@InfraGuide for delhi-kolkata section I think Kolkata to Balia/Varanasi will be better alternative.It will also intersect Jayanagar-Aurangabad hence provide controlled access to Patna.

नीतीश कुमार जी को चाहिए कि राजनीतिक मकड़जाल से ऊपर उठकर विकास के बारे में सोचे जैसा योगी जी कर रहे हैं। बिहार में एक्सप्रेस way और 4 aims की जरूरत है। जातिगत राजनीति सिर्फ चुनाव तक सीमित हो और उसके बाद पूरा ध्यान बिहार का इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर पर देना चाहिए। दूसरी बात बिहार में जो शराबबंदी है उसको वापस लेकर सही तरीके से चालू कर देना चाहिए। कम से सरकार को राजवस्व होगा जिसका उपयोग विकास कार्यो में होगा।
उस हरामि को नमाज पड़ने से फुर्सत नहीं बिहार का विकास सिर्फ बीजेपी कर सकती है और कोई नहीं

Patna city shape is different , it is long stretch (rectangular with less width) and patna is bigger than mfp . Btw i also think that Kanti and some other part are kept out of ring road which will hurt in future cz city is expanding. It shoupd hv 60+ km but still good that bjp gov't 😀 is building it after patna . Mfp didn't get aiims & airport so atleast ring road and smart city project will revamp the city .
