      @vernestachristopher5929 ปีที่แล้ว

      You people DON'T know the BIBLE at all 🤨 Sunday is the first day of the week, and Saturday is the 7th day of the week, which makes it the LORD'S DAY OF SABBATH, in Genesis chapter 2, vs 1- 7 so for all you people who think it's OK to worship on Sunday are going to have a problem with GOD when you stand before him, because it was a Catholic Pope who changed the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday, which makes the Catholics Anti- Christ's because they chose to go against the word of GOD, and WHO has the right to change the WORD OF GOD, except GOD, and he changes NOTHING🙏🏽

    • @lorazembruski2765
      @lorazembruski2765 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@vernestachristopher5929 I was confused about that too in that past, but asked why the Sabbath is Sunday instead of Saturday since in the Old Testament God said the seventh day, Saturday, is the day of rest. It is because Jesus Christ rose from the dead on Sunday so now we Worship Him on the day He rose for His miraculous event. Jesus makes all things new. Blessings. 🙏🏼

    • @scottreese5492
      @scottreese5492 ปีที่แล้ว

      He never said they're closed on Sunday because of worship......he just said they're closed on Sunday. We have some stores round here close on mon, and one takes off at 12 on wed..... Jesus said "love God with all your heart, mind,soul and strength, and love neighbor as yourself "and in so doing you fulfill all the commandments. "The sabbath was made for man not man for the sabbath ", stay focused people, "you will know a true believer by their fruit", not what day of the week they think God deserves their attention. "You must be born again ", Bob bears the fruit of loving others, I haven't met a seventh day adventure that does.....yet:(

    • @lorazembruski2765
      @lorazembruski2765 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are right. He never said he is closed on Sunday because of worship. In any case, it is right to be closed on Sunday and Blessing to Mr. Bob Binnie and his employees. BTW, Loving God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength, and loving your neighbor as yourself does fulfill all the commandments - in addition to the first 10 Commandments God gave Moses. Blessings to all. 😇

    Hi Bob, what are the requirements for labeling the honey? Here in the Netherlands we need to get it tested on pollen and when there is a certain percentage we can label it as such. I was once told it's expensive to have it tested in a lab, but also found information online it is the price of 2 jars of honey.
    Are there no requirements there?
    Currently I'm getting heather, it's the only honey I can almost 100 percent ensure its Heather since it tastes bitter and needs to be stirred to be fluid. (It's jelly in the comb, impossible to extract)

    • @bobbinnie9872
      @bobbinnie9872  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The law states that honey should be at least 51% of a variety before you can label it as such but there is not a big program in place for policing that. There are places it can be tested and in my opinion it should be much more than 51%.

    Mr. Bob, since heating is a debatable topic in processing honey , what temp do you keep your warming room at and is there a timeframe?

    • @bobbinnie9872
      @bobbinnie9872  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Our warming room is heated from the the floor and does not get as warm as one might think. As soon as the honey reaches 110°f it gets pumped to the settling/bottling tanks. This can take any where from 2 to 5 days depending on how cold the warehouse is. Totes of course can be closer to five days.

Or do yall mix some of yours in to help with health benefits? And just label it all blueridge honey? • @bobbinnie9872

      We have many labels. Some simply state "Produced In The USA" while others are more specific like "Produced In Florida", Produced In California", Produced In Georgia", "Produced In South Georgia", Produced In The Blue Ridge Mountains", etc. Also a different subject but definitely worth mentioning is that research has shown that it is much more important for honey to be raw rather than local for health benefits.

    I work for a road stripping company. We keep 100’s of those totes in our warehouse and outside (weather permitting) stacked 2 high. The frames carries the weight, the bottom of the pallet has a lip to catch the frame below it for easier stacking. Our totes weight about 3200 pounds, a tote of honey might be slightly heavier. I’m sure my company keeps data on the totes and I might be able to have them fax it to your store if that something you’re interested in.

      I stack them 3 high too Mr. Bob. No issues. The frames should have a transport load rating on them. (normally in Kilograms). They are rated to stack 2 high during transport. The only thing I do is make sure the bottom tote doesn’t have any plastic in the frame. If it does I will put it in the middle or on top. Stacking 3 high saves a lot of room.

    my uncle got 5 hives in Michigan. A neighbor started to lease property to a commercial operator; barely any honey and constant robbing since then. We need laws for that kind of crap.

    • @donotcare330
      @donotcare330 ปีที่แล้ว

      The problem that you have with that, is then you get over-regulation just like in North Dakota. it still doesn't solve the problem. States that super-regulate like South Dakota, have people that literally hide their hives, paint them different colors and hide the hives so planes cannot see them. People are having to be competitive with where they place hives, and bee pastures are being sprayed. Thanks to state noxious weed laws. So less areas to put hives. and no, it doesn't matter what fines you put up, moonshiners could of cared less and most beekeepers in south dakota dont either. all you can do is make certain your hives are at their best health and try to make due with robbing screens.
