As far as the Samsung Keyboard app I read elsewhere there was a FLAW where vulnerabilities existed that allowed capturing keystrokes, and MOST importantly PASSWORDS typed in and the contents of the clipboard! This update is supposed to address that. I too have auto-updates turned OFF for the Galaxy and Google play stores just so I can see what's been updated and I can them choose if I want to update them or not. I check for updates every day or so.

To claim that these updates are great and better without even having used them can't stand. Updates can introduce bugs, be slower, remove or disable important features
